The Forgotten Battle is an excellent movie. It took the Dutch to make a movie that includes Canada's involvement in WWII. Cinderella Army.

personally black hawk down needs a spot on all these types of lists. and this year bringing the movie “All quiet on the western front” to netflix i’d say it deserves the number one spot on the list. also siege of jadotville, and 13 hours, and many more. thanks bro for making this list tho. great quality content, keep it up.

The Forgotten Battle and 1917 are really good movies, however, I have no interest whatsoever in Hollywood's glorification of invading and raping Third World countries.

It’s quite obvious this “movie critic’’ doesn’t watch the films and apparently doesn’t even read the short synopsis’ but given it’d take far too long to illustrate all his idiocy I’ll just give a short example of how idiotic this man is. The Last Full Measure was about A1C ‘Pitz’ a US Air Force Para-Rescue Man aka PJ and he was the first ground based Airmen (Combat Arms) to be awarded the MOH. I strongly recommend finding something closer to an actual reviewer if you want factual information and not nonsense.

1917 is an insult to the Canadian Corps. Brits attacking through green fields is pretty far from the actual history of that year. Over a hundred years later and the generational lesson in Canada is never follow a Brit into combat! Nor a British plan!

All war movies served to glorify the bravery of their soldiers and countries. I no longer fall for the fallacy. There are more gory than glory in all wars.

I really enjoyed The Forgotten Battle, not only because of the story telling and the visuals, but because you rarely see a war movie that includes Canada in it, and as a Canadian myself, I really enjoyed seeing us being included since we're usually forgotten (no pun intended)
