Feb 24 2021. How does it look now?
ОтветитьThere's no such thing as wasted tax payers money. It created work for sanitation and police officer. More defecation the better
ОтветитьNot worth the money? What? ! ? ! ? It’s extremely worthy it. You do not want that kind of a mess to ever start overflowing
ОтветитьThat's what's the dirty rich did to the people
ОтветитьEvil they don't care their getting paid. God seeing all eyes. For eyes
ОтветитьI hadn't been to LA in 12 years until recently. It was shocking how disgusting its become it was always gross but holy crap.
ОтветитьWTF
Ответитьa white boy picking up a dirty needle lol an immigrant working who you going to blame illegals? pelosi, i blame you the whities lol
Ответитьdilian needs some free drugs loser
ОтветитьDisgusting
ОтветитьWhy don’t they purchase a land and put those tents there with the sanitation stations like bathroom and shower? Isn’t that cheaper?
ОтветитьSee this is why we need home security, because the homeless are frightening the american citizens and we might have to protect our family's and return fire they want to live in caoius, and kick off riots
ОтветитьJust use the cleanup money to help the homeless. Fire the stupid city officials.
ОтветитьEuthanasia is the answer
ОтветитьConfine them in FEMA CAMPS.
ОтветитьMonths and years to come. What a joke.
ОтветитьIf we're gonna have homeless shelters, then put a GET HIGH DESIGNATED spot on the patio separated from general population or at least give e'm their medication.
There's Medical Meth (Adderall), Medical Cocaine, and Medical Heroin in pills without the smoke or vapors in the air.
Especially bring back the Mental Shelters so that the Mentally Homelessness can get off the streets.
Even the Mental Shelters should have a huge campground so the homeless can have their tents like if they were on the street,
without complaining..... problem solved
People still protecting them while L.A decays!
ОтветитьALL homeLess funding shouLd go inTo trash pickup and saniTizing.
ОтветитьA lack of affordable housing is the problem here. Go back 30-40 years and you didn't see these encampments popping up everywhere. You might see the occasional drunken bum passed out in a door way. But you did not see tents on the sidewalks and people defecating on the street. I saw a news story about an out of work makeup artist in LA who is behind on her rent. Her rent is $3000 month, that's outrageous.
ОтветитьThat kombaya homeless advocate lady is the problem. Her stupid nagging voice that instead of actually helping the homeless she's trying to push things to essentially keep them homeless but slightly more comfortable homeless.
That homeless drug addict has better ideas then that lady. He should be the one in these city council meetings on what really should be done to END the homeless crisis and get them off the streets. Not make it more comfortable to be homeless. Homelessness should be treated like a disease. You find out what caused it and you fix the issue.
If the person is so mentality disabled there's no hope for a healthy reintegration back into society then they need to be kept in housing. I'm not advocating bringing back the horrible facilities the mentally ill were kept in the past. Just somewhere to house them and keep them off the streets so they're not a danger to others nor themselves and this would be non-optional. Any noncompliance would lead you into a jail specifically meant to house the homeless. Now this wouldn't be a long term situation. I said JAIL versus prison for a reason. Have them stay temporarily in a jail to help get them to understand they cannot be on the streets. That they had an option for housing and freedom but they acted up and landed here instead. When they get out they'll be given the option again. Do you want to stay in a homeless housing unit where you can have your freedom and ability to leave whenever, OR continue to stay here with no freedoms and no option for commissary.
it's call kicking the can down the street, until you can kick it out of sight and it becomes someone else's can to kick.
Ответитьthis is the production of your society ,,,, they are humans.... and in the narrator's eye they make problem for the sanitation workers .... shut up your condescending voice .....
ОтветитьVote for democrats and this is what you get hahahahaha.
ОтветитьDefinition of third world shithole.
ОтветитьHire 200 actors to play hippies... to perform Insight Street Theater & unobtrusively match the homeless with care providers in those areas of the City which have become blighted. Why hippies? Cuz they completely changed a neighborhood & made it into a National icon.
During the golden age of the Haight anyone could feel free to start a conversation with a stranger on the street day or night. This is when The Committee did Insight Comedy Street Theater, creating even more opportunities for people to meet & greet each other & share a joint.
Next thing sanitation workers are top paying careers in California.
Ответить.... Listen up... I'm sure we can all express some compassion for the homeless... However, please type in: 'Diseases caused by unsanitary conditions' in any search engine and you'll find that because of human feces and human related trash that a LONG list of documented diseases will crop up...It's an easy search / read so I'm not listing them all at this time...but after reading them you will become enlightened, and will want to see something like these cleanings happen... To put it simply: Homeless encampments are a Public Health Hazard of Countless Diseases and Viruses just inches away from you and I...
... I know everyone reading this, most certainly must be even remotely aware of the past year and a half (or so) of Covid-19 and what it's done to the world... These encampments are NO DIFFERENT ....They Can and Will affect Public Health...
... Homeless don't care where they relieve themselves...feces attracts maggots and flies...the feces and it's correlated unsanitary conditions also bring Cholera, Dysentery, Typhoid, Polio, Scabies, and Ringworm...There, I listed 'some' of what is festering around the homeless encampments...Then there's Fly's, Maggots, Lice, Mice, Rats, Ticks, and more that carry diseases and spread them faster than a wildfire...Then there's the discarded used syringes that hide just under the trash, that are ready to plunge into you or your child's toe and infect you with countless 'issues'...
.....Remember, diseases and viruses are spread in multiple ways, such as: Airborne, Airborne Droplets from Sneezing and Coughing, from Insects and Vermin that carry diseases, Hantavirus from mice feces, Contaminated Surfaces, and more...
... So, faced and armed now with 'some enlightenment', do you still want these homeless people living just over your back fence ??? ... These cleanups are desperately needed in order to help preserve our Public Health in our Towns, Citys, Counties, States and yes, Our Country..... Search and read for yourselves, so you can see I am not some wacky conspiracy theorist .....
..... NBCLA seemed to misrepresent some facts in this flick, as the figures they expressed were incorrect.... Meaning, the sanitation works, the police, the caltrans, the whomever would have all been paid their daily wages anyway, regardless of where they were assigned to work ..... But, let's not forget, the cleanups are desperately needed in order to help assure some degree of public health...
ОтветитьLet me ask, what is more frustrating, the homeless coming back, or the money being wasted every week on this when the city knows it is a waste? That is the problem with LA.
ОтветитьWe should send the homeless to Catalina
ОтветитьForced drug and mental health rehabilitation.
ОтветитьIt's the outdoor equivalent of room service and a maid: city cleans their habitat, then brings snacks afterwards. If these professionally homeless went and earned $15/hr doing anything... there goes the perks. They might be lucky to rent a carpet cleaning service once a year - as long as they don't own a car. The property taxes are rediculous: hundreds of dollars each year to "register". And no, those fees aren't really for registration. If that was all it was... $40 a year would take care of it - they use kelly bluebook numbers as a proximal reference for a reason. So what could $600 buy, private sector? Oh, a $300/hr attorney to process your registration, a 4 star buffet with complementary drink while you wait, and pole dancers [if you're into that sort of thing]. Tips are on you.
California is damaged administratively to the point of monetary equivalence that a Hiroshima sized explosion would cause - every damn year. The state is effed. Cost-plus operations with zero accountability have a name in my book: kleptocracy..
How dare those homeless people try to stay alive !!!
ОтветитьBy not putting enough porta potties and too few and to small trash cans, it's like LA is making the problem worse than it has to be and I think it's done on purpose. What are they doing with all the millions of dollars being thrown at the problem? I think it's just going into their pockets. So they have no real incentive to solve the issue.
Ответитьi saw nothing but illegal immigrants lol bunch of privilege losers i see
ОтветитьWe’ll assign police to each area to make sure they don’t come back
ОтветитьThe money goes to non profit companies that is not providing for homeless. That's where the money stops
ОтветитьThe ones with warrants put them in jail that would be a start 🦧
ОтветитьThat “homeless” guy is an actor lmao
ОтветитьWow the homeless drug addict is the smartest person being interviewed during the story
ОтветитьDemocrats paradise
ОтветитьRound them all up and have them fight each other to the death. I'd pay to watch that!
ОтветитьImagine the people that have toclean up the encampment, they have famillys. And there being exposed to all that potential diseasees!
ОтветитьDude they interviewed has completely lost his damn mind… picking up needles nonchalantly with a mechanical 1000 yard stare… “yes.”
ОтветитьWhat country do we get airlifted to,,???
ОтветитьThis is truly heartbreaking. Our country is really falling apart.
ОтветитьThey need to arrest the homeless that are doing drugs and under the influence and put them in a drug program mandatory, and if you're able body and just living there because you want to because it's somewhat free then you need to be made to leave and not return and if you return be arrested
Ответить
