I've been really getting into this kind of music over the last year or so. I'd previously listened to ordinary metal for 30 years, ever since I first heard 'The Clairvoyant' by Iron Maiden in 1988. That's where my musical journey started. But in recent years, it hasn't really been doing it for me like it used to. By accident I first discovered Shylmagoghnar which led to Elderwind, Eldamar, Wintersun and some other bands in the same kind of vein. Elderwind are amazing and I hope to see more from them in the future. Eldamar are great as well. This kind of music has added another dimension to my musical tastes and has got me interested again, so THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL ATMOSPHERIC BLACK METAL MUSICIANS!
