Lubitel 166U comes with a 645 mask and has markings for the 645 frame on the screen. As a twin lens camera with challenging focussing, it’s not the easiest but it’s very cheap. No light meter either. Used ones go for €20-40. Lens is fixed at 75m. It can also do 6x6 when the mask is removed. Make sure the mask is included in the sale. A fun camera but not one to depend on.
ОтветитьProblem with the GA645 is that at short distances (talk portrait distance) it often misses the focus. Not a problem when focusing further away.
ОтветитьNo, a leaf shutter does not serve as apperture control.
ОтветитьPeople keep telling me to get a Mamiya 645 Pro instead of an ETRSi since the parts are much harder to find. What are your thoughts?
ОтветитьAwesome fun review. I'm getting back into med format. I absolutely loved the Mamiya 645 AF D iii. But yes, cost a bomb to get bqck. I just need auto focus & TTL flash 6x9 would be way cool.
ОтветитьI am late to photography, but I only want 2 cameras: the Hasselblad 503 CX/CW and the Mamiya C330.
Since I've only started this year, I have acquired the first, from Japan, in mint condition. I am excited to just try, learn as I go. Already though, I am looking for 2 additional lenses to complement the Hasselblad. The camera did come with the usual 80 mm, but I am on the hunt for a 50mm and a 180 mm. The seller from Japan also has a 50mm that I am "eyeing." And if conditions are right, then I will be getting that one in under a month.
After a few lenses and the C330, I am stopping. I will just use these 2 cameras and lenses to go with them. I don't want the G. A. S. to get me.
Give me more Kaesen!!!
