the free star ranger ship is a fantastic ship if you can't afford to buy one. I earned it through the quests, brought the wings in to the main body, and reduced extra rooms to increase maneuverability. its size was very small and I never lost a fight in it. I put a lot into weapons and shield. it was capable of 27LY of travel, and I never ran out of storage

So you copied the Star Eagle and made it bigger.

Actually tried building this lastnight from the stareagle as they share a lot of parts. At new Atlantis I could not do 3 of the landing gear.. at the red mile I could. Was very very weird

Tiny suggestion, try replacing your slim docker with Extender Port 200 Docker, In this case you don't need the extra 1x1 hub and you avoid having the ladder

How are you able to have different class stuff with your reactor and how’s you get so much power that you can use for all your stuff

I just wanted to say, this guide was fantastic! It was easy to follow, all the parts were named and explained, and I was able to build my own, with a few slight differences. The biggest being the removal of the wing struts. Bringing those wings in has basically given me the "Defiant" style ship I was looking for! Thank you so much!

Someone help me out. I'm at the New Atlantis shipyard to build and modify but I don't have a lot of the Stroud-Ekland landing gear available to me. Do I have to purchase this somewhere else and bring it back? I went to the Shroud-Ekland showroom and saw it there in Neon, but it doesn't just let me purchase a piece. Help. What am I doing wrong?

Stupid question but can you just build a "new" ship from nothing or do you always have to modify an existing ship and then add parts to that? I am currently flying to ship you get from the Freestar Rangers quest and contemplating modifying that to be like yours or if I should make a new one if I can.

Can I request that we start adding a "Total Credit Cost" to the video? I'd love to build this, but don't wanna even START until I have 1 million credits. It looks expensive and if I get started and only make it so far before I run out of credits.. That would be a wasteful endeavor.

The ship looks amazing but 41 mobility? Isn't that really low?

Neat video, am going too build this next! But with ship building being wonky for me, going to take time with the perspective and what order to place it down from scratch.

Edit: how is your slim tucker dock facing that way? That seems rotated from our point of view in the ship builder..
