I was lucky enough to walk over the Forth Bridge. The rail used was hollow section to reduce weight. I got an end on view of a piece used to repair some lattice work on the bridge. There was a stock pile of the rail but the rolling mill had closed so once that was used the bridge had to be strengthened to carry solid rail.

This is a wonderful film, with many rare sequence for the enthusiast. Thanks so much for sharing this.
