So.... how do you "refine edge" like in Photoshop? Cuz the edges on this particular video REALLY need work.
ОтветитьThank you! 🥰
ОтветитьHello!!!!!! My layer masks are a little slow . They only show the selection in white after deselecting the object. Do you have any idea why this happens?
ОтветитьCan I place a photo in Affinity Publisher, then edit the photo in Affinity Photo creating a mask which updates the placed photo in Affinity Publisher?
I'd like to be able to go back and forth between the two apps without having to re-place the photo in Publisher sixed and in position.
Thank you so much for your tutorials. You are FANTASTIC!
ОтветитьBack to learning Affinity, thanks again for wonderful tutorials
ОтветитьExcellently done!
Ответитьbought ver 1. bought v2 (the biggest value across all platforms from single purchase!!
although I'm not using digital imaging like the last 20 years I used to be, I'll join this war willingly.
Go Seriff!
Hello. I remember Photoshop had the ability to "grow" or "expand" the edges of your selected area outward the number of pixel designated. Does Affinity have a similar function or ability. I'm noticing there is a dark line around the model after applying the mask. Thanks.

But I finally feel like I got the basics because of your course. Thank you so much for offering your courses.
ОтветитьWow... you really good in explaining that stuff.... I watched a couple other videos with the same topic, but they where working so fast that I just couldn't follow... thank you well done ....👍
ОтветитьVery useful thanks 👍
ОтветитьGreat tutorial - just what I needed. I would love showing how to put a new background in place - but I figured it out. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you for that. Same thing in affinity 2? Or is there a new video for that?
ОтветитьThank you, thank you, thank you!
ОтветитьC'est très gentil et super
ОтветитьThank you so much for the point about saving the file! That was really helpful too
ОтветитьAwesome thank you
ОтветитьThanks again for this tutorial. I have just installed Affinity 2. I can make a selection but pressing on the mask icon does not add the mask. I wonder if anyone has the same problem.
ОтветитьUsually I'm a frantic mess when learning this stuff but your tutorials put me at ease.
ОтветитьGood video, just helped me solve a small problem!
ОтветитьI'm new to Affinity, and your tutorial was ideal for my beginner staus. I will certainly enroll in the course you so kindly offer!

ОтветитьAnother great tutorial! Thanks for making this process so clear.
ОтветитьHi there, thank you so much for this! I encountered one issue and I'm wondering if you could help :/ Been trying to fix it on my own but I just can't solve it. I followed your steps, and then the exported files would either be completely empty/blank, or just like the original photo with the background showing...I don't know what I'm not doing right :( Would really really appreciate your help! Thank you!
ОтветитьOk this was fantastic , slow and easy ! thanks so much, I have subscribed !
ОтветитьGreat, you Actually showed how to Export the Cut Out. Everyone else Presumes you want to Replace the background & then glosses past the actual keystrokes required to export ONLY the CutOut Portion of the IMAGE THX Much !
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьThankyou so much, you explained it very well.
I would like to have seen you bring in a new background, but oh well another time
I wan to change the background, and followed your video, but in the end all I got is my picture with a background full of little squares. How can I get my background done? Thanks.
ОтветитьYou are completly awesome! Great tutorial, Thanks! Looking to take your courses soon.
ОтветитьThank You very much! This video was everything I needed!
ОтветитьThanks, great video!!!.
ОтветитьI have a few questions please... . I am new to affinity and only got it for a 10 day trial as I have no idea how to use this. What I want to use it for is print and cut on a cricut for sublimation I have my epson et printer and sublimation ink. And I have also been given a link to a ICC profile to add into affinaly but how do I use this site for downloading say pic arts and adding then into this and making them brighter and then using the ICC profile I've been. Given, do I then save the finished edit in affinity and add to my crucit and print and cut or do I print from the affinity site? I'm sorry this is such a long question but I am so confused by all the little buttons this site has etc TIA
ОтветитьGreat Job thanks for your videos...
ОтветитьI love the way you explain. You speak slow and very precise. You keep it simple. I’m new to Affinity so I’ll be following you.
ОтветитьHi Affinity, when I do the mask, the opposite actually happens to me and the background image is selected. What should I do?
ОтветитьWhat a great tutorial! Thanks a lot! :)
ОтветитьThank you so much.
Ответитьgreat tips I can see me using this first time since I bought it 2 years ago.
