DELTARUNE | Jevil Boss Fight (Pacifist No Hit)

You know I always wonder why people do the harder version of the spining spade attack or whatever it’s called is it because you think the other method is to unreliable?

For those that lost count, it takes about 10 hyonosis attacks to calm jevil down. 500 TP

Jevil is the weirdest and hardest boss I ever fought

the first time I beat Jevil it was a non-pacifist play through, I ran out of items and everyone was dead except Susie who had 1 HP

I just won by keep doing Pirouette
It was chaotic and fun

Something I just noticed is that both Dark Worlds seem to be related to something addictive. 

The First Dark World, which I will call Pack Of Cards, has millions of notions towards cards, and Jevil calls his fight a game. “If my HP goes to 0, I lose!” Well.. he doesn’t DIE, so what does he lose? Perhaps.. his money? This could be a reference to gambling, and how the chance of someone winning is completely random. I don’t quite understand the mentions of his iconic “CHAOS, CHAOS! I CAN DO ANYTHING,” yet. Any ideas on that one?

Now, for Dark World #2, aka Search Query. A lot of people are addicted to technology. I won’t beat around the bush with this one, I’m addicted too. Notice how Queen wants to expand her world and bring it to everyone. The plugs that control the pink Darkner things (I dunno what they’re called, they’re certainly not Werewire), and they become bigger, becoming Werewire. Maybe I’m looking too far into the details, but maybe it’s symbolism for how everyone can be who they want online? Spamton wants to be a big shot, and he did get his wish. But, it failed. Like how somebody can get famous online, but over time, they fade away. Think of trends such as 2015 cat videos, Vines (RIP), and others.

I don’t know yet, but I think the next chapter’s Dark World might be another reference to something addicting. That’s only judging off of what I know. Also, while I’m at it, I predict that the next secret boss is a Darkner who doesn’t talk like others (Jevil’s word-repeating and Spamton’s [hyperlink blocked]) and has been driven insane after getting contact with a mysterious being.

after jevil kicked the ever loving shit out of me VERY very many times , and i beat him by about a hair, this amazes me but it was also a pain to watch, thank you ♡

Fun fact: If you use Pirouette too tou can beat him even before he does the chaos bomb attack. When it says Chaos bomb is prepeared for you and you didn't healed or attacked even once and used pirouette with hypnosis, just do pirouettw with kris and pacify with ralsei. You'll beat him even before that chaos bomb attack.

Watching this doesn't feel the same as actually playing it. The song isn't complete if it's not accompanied by the sheer panic of being completely out of items, one or more of your characters being down and Ralsei being your last lifeline between you and a crippling defeat

Literally, fuck jevil, i always mess up one hypnosis and he just destroys me after the "Final Chaos" part with the exploding scythes and just does a random attack which ALWAYS kills me

Honestly, I find Jevil harder than Spamtron. Is that just me?
