It is not "interesting" that Israel is an ally of Azerbaijan. One of the world's oldest Jewish communities lives in Azerbaijan, and there was never any anti-Semitism there (and Georgia, next to Azerbaijan, as well). Jews have always been an integral part of society with full rights in both those countries. Jews have never particularly loved in Armenian society, in contrast. So Israel is natural allies and cooperates a lot with Azerbaijan and Georgia. Also Armenia's strongest ally is Iran.

Wish reporter would do better job at explaining why this two countries happen to fight over karavakh region in the first place. It lucks insights over Soviet’s Stalin decision back in 1930s to tear Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) off from Armenia and forcefully attach it to a newly formed country that nowadays is known as Azerbaijan as to welcoming sign from Bolshevik regime… by giving away Armenian Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) ie part of Armenia. This is where major disagreements began between Soviet Armenia and Azerbaijan. So time to time war begins here fighting over NGK which inhabited mostly by Armenians people. Wars that already took too many lives over the years since NGK was attached to Azerbaijan.
