I love when the double bass sounds like this, lots of basses sound very scratchy, but this, this is so smooth high quality sounding and i love it

to have overcome the vast technical challenges to play this so eloquently at such an early age is remarkable. BRAVO! to both exquisite performers!

oh wow never heard an arrangement with double bass. I do think its a bit too contrasting. maybe transcribed in e minor might be a bit better but regardless really great performance.

Outstanding--I have never heard a bassist play this piece---one of my favorites---better. Pianist is a dream for bassists--sensitive, musical and careful not to overpower the bass. His recital at Carnegie Hall earlier this week was fantastic!
