I've been going to Sakura con for 14 years and i've only ever encountered the mixtape sellers since you cant avoid them. Tried to tell my friend a story about how his music was helping kids stay off of the streets 💀. I do run into the smash players at PAX though

When I was cosplaying Douma some maid dress guy just came up to me and squeezed my private part💀 it hurt bc I have something called “balls” so I kneeled on the ground and let out a scream and the maid dress guy just said “oh you like that?” And a bunch of other weird stuff. I told the staff about what happened so he was kicked out👍👍.

Unfortunately that minor label on a tag isn't going to stop a lot of weird men. I know some women are weird too, but there's just a lot more weird men.

I cosplay as a us soldier from the 1700s and shit one called me out for being a stolen valor even though I was cosplaying as a soldier from the colonial times and I once got detained for making it look real. To be honest history is best I recommend, smuggling the realistic badges and medals while wearing a shitty one made to get into the convention before being yelled by a Karen and stuff. Just letting you know what I been through though yeah I once been detained and almost accused of being a stolen valor even though I made a realistic replica of a us colonial soldier outfit to wear. But, it was worth it some laughed and I enjoyed my well made quality for a colonialist costume and some looked at me in disgust for dressing like that and It still is priceless.

As someone who is usually in the super smash room at conventions, I can conform it smells so bad- I think it might be due to most of the people in that room never going out to see the outside or anything for that matter, or the sweat and get from playing… But yeah it smells like ass in there
