The challenge in making this soup is getting some of those exotic ingredients at an American grocery store, I may have to order some online, but that's fine. That being said, I LOVE Thai food, and I want to learn how to make a good Tom Yum soup since having my first serving at a restaurant in Atlanta called '26Thai'. It was so...damn...GOOD! So, I wanted to challenge myself to make my own. Thanks for posting this video.

ОтветитьAfter seeing you cut the bell peppers, I realized you don't know how to cook. THAT'S NOT how to cut a bell pepper, so I shut you off. LOL,LOL,ROFL !!!!

ОтветитьThis is a plant-based Tom Yum Soup. I have tried Thai Seafood Tom Yum Soup. Will try this recipe some day.
ОтветитьI enjoyed this video so much..how chicken can be added in this soup
ОтветитьHow many serving and calories in this soup?
ОтветитьI am Thai . We don’t cook Tom Yum soup like you do. The way you cook is like curry mee with the sour taste. Most of original Thai food don’t put butter.
ОтветитьThis is not Tom yum in Thai dish. So sorry.
ОтветитьThat’s not even close to Tom yum, definitely disgusting
ОтветитьIs it ok go use ginger instead of galangal???
ОтветитьU amazing 👌👍
ОтветитьThe one and only soup in the world that doesn't have salt in it!!!!
ОтветитьYUM!
ОтветитьI am confused wtih the soy sauce in Tom Yum. I am guessing it is a good replacement for fish sauce but still confused.
ОтветитьOmg. Is that you’re supposed to cut a 🫑???? 😂🎉😢❤
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks. Easy to follow 👍👍😁
ОтветитьWould it ruin it if you left the maple cream/palm sugar out of it? I a diabetic and can't have carbs.
ОтветитьLooks delicious but thats curry soup Tom yum is made with prick pao which is a chilli paste.
ОтветитьOriginal Thai never put curry paste in Tom yum soup 😢
Ответитьมั่ว
ОтветитьOk just made the RAW VEGAN version of this! amazing! all of this if left uncooked become raw vegan.
Ответитьwe usually add coriander root and leaf too and instead of soy sauce we use fish sauce and palm sugar, and coconut cream goes in last we don't want it to split and become too oily.
ОтветитьIt is very difficult for the man to understand what he is saying
ОтветитьI ❤ lemongrass 😊and thanks for this recipe. Will try
ОтветитьAmazing!! Can't wait to make it. 😮
ОтветитьDelicious!
ОтветитьDude I love your voice over, very clear, concise and to the point.
Some of these channels try to be personal vlogs, I love how you start out personal but then zoom in on the actual cooking.
I’m shocked that there is no fish sauce 😂
ОтветитьAfter reading some comments, I'm going to cut to the chase...I think I'm in LOVE! <3 Sorry for gushing, but Wil, you really put your heart and soul into your channel. What a Blessing!
ОтветитьAs a native Thai, I cant call it Tomyum I’m sorry. Red curry paste, Bell pepper, Soy sauce, Tamarind paste, coconut milk, Spring onion, they dont have any business with Tomyum at all. You can call it Tomyum curry but hmmm cant call this thing TomYum
ОтветитьWhat is galantal also Diane hello
ОтветитьWhat is cilantro Holland Diane hello
ОтветитьIt’s been a year since this vid was published and I still can smell the beautiful aroma in this soup. Thank you!
Ответитьwhere did u buy ur knife 🤨
ОтветитьThis isn't tom yum. It's so wrong on so many levels. I had to turn it off just over 3 minuets in when you added red curry paste... This is not how it's made. Where did you get this recipe from or did you just make it up?! A few mins researching authentic Thai recipes ( of which there are many - check out Hot Thai Kitchen for one ) will show you the correct way to make it.
