Pathetic organization from top to bottom. No WS ring for this team as long as this ownership, GM and coaching staff remain in charge. Terrible roster construction along with terrible management and a captain that completely disappears in the postseason.

It's pretty easy to see we don't do the little things right. Sadly, they do.

The Yankees have no heart, no soul, no backbone and no courage. This team is dead. Judge shouldn't be captain at all. We need a new captain who inspires. Yankees suck and it hurt me to say it

Sparky Anderson went to the mound during the 1976 WS , told the pitcher “this guy can flat out hit”. He was speaking of Thurmond Munson. We all watched Derek Jeter hit in the playoffs . Captains do that. Aaron Judge has not lived up to that level of captaincy. It was Boone’s decision in game 1 that did set this disaster up. Boone has to go , Cashman has to go. Will it happen?
I have increasingly lost interest in NYY, simply because of poor management at all levels.
There is no hope with the current management.

These games haven't been slaughters but they sure seem like slaughters. The scores don't tell how bad the Yankees have played in every department--pitching, hitting, fundamentals, intensity.

NYY in 2017 season went down to the Astros in 7 games in the ALCS. Forget about the cheating.
Verlander was the difference. Traded from Detroit to Houston at the deadline. Check out that trade, you will shake your head. Astros ran off with Verlander by trading 3 minor leaguers and picking up 8 million of Verlander’s salary for 2018 and 2019. Where were the NYY.
Which team wins the ALCS if Verlander landed in NY? Which team sets a course for multiple deep playoff runs? WS wins? Check out the pitchers Cashman traded for since. Check out Flaherty this year. What you are watching, this disaster of a series, is what follows from moves of an awful GM.

Money doesn’t solve the majority of the issues this team had, has and will continue to have..

Due respect to Jeter, Reggie Jackson should have thrown out the first pitch for a World Series game against the Dodgers.

I feel like we were sold a bill of goods with this Series. We were told that this was a classic matchup of two stored franchises and yet it hasn't looked like it. We were told that this was a battle between two amazing sluggers; Judge vs. Ohtani and yet neither Judge nor Ohtani has shown up at all in this World Series so far.

I never want to hear again about how amazing Judge is with his 60, 70 home runs every year because he hits them when it doesn't matter; in May, June and July, but never when it matters; in October. 58 homers in the regular season just 2 in the playoffs so far. It's like he can only hit in the heat of the summer, never in April and never in October.

Yankees still haven’t won a World Series game in 15 years……

Why do I have a feeling we Yankee fans are going to find out how it feels to be a Mets fan, a Reds fan, a Pirates fan, an Orioles fan, heck even a Cleveland Guardians fan in which we could get to 2035 or 2040 and we'll still be saying it's been since 2009 the last time the Yankees won a title, like this title drought could reach the 30, 40+ years mark? It will if we keep the same lineup and Boone as manager and Cashman as GM for the next 5 or more years and Hal Steinbrenner is still the owner by 2030 or 2035 or so.

I told my wife the series ended when Nestor gave up the home run to FF in game one, like you just said. I love the Yankees but they made the WS because there were no really good teams in the AL the Dodgers are better it’s obvious. Will I hope for a historic comeback, absolutely but the Yankees have poor roster construction and have had poor roster construction for many years, and there is no consequences for that. Cashman, Fishman and Boone still have jobs

The rebuilding that most of us want won’t happen Hal will not make the change needed. Cashman, Fishman and Boone have to go but they will all be back.

Good morning Derek. This Yankee team and management hasn't done shit for 20 yrs. Mostly because all are biggest stars haven't performed over that span.
This could be a very long time period before we win. Already in a very long winning drought. AKA. Yankee Mike. This losing streak is mostly on the players. 3 base coach should be fired can't send your slowest runner.

I don't think the Dodgers are so much better than the Yankees,more so the Yankees batyers cannot get out of their own way.Poor game plan when you don't score for 8 innings and then try to rally and pull it out.

I don’t know if we’re watching the same game, the Yankees couldn’t buy a hit to that point you had to send Stanton there and did you not notice it was a perfect throw to the ribs. If that was anywhere else he was safe, so please don’t tell me Rojas should not have sent him.

Dodger fan here. You're definitely right, it's not always about the long ball, small ball and putting the ball in play is what's the difference here. The little things are what wins games. The biggest play of the game was the throw out at home.

Ohtani is batting .090 in this series. Yankee fans putting it all on Judge, but overall they're not hitting and getting out pitched. I mean NY came into the series with better pitching, LA doesnt even have their ace pitcher available. Dodgers have an identity now, I think that series vs San Diego helped the dodgers find themselves after all them choke jobs in the postseason and because of that theyll be very hard to beat in the future.
