Fair review all around. The design seems forced and the wall of buttons dividing the cabin seems like a question that nobody asked.

He's so wrong about this car it's not even funny. First the looks on this car are ridiculously amazing it literally mirrors a Ferrari Lamborghini etc. supercar for 70k. Power handling tech etc. all great for that price range. And lastly it's actually dependable unlike any type supercar and oil changes don't cost thousands

I believe that the Americans fitted a modern engine to chassis, and further sorted the chassis for the first time. Amazing what can happen when a little effort is taken.

I’ve seen dozens of these where I live in northern Michigan. All owned by old retired guys who drive like Miss Daisy. I don’t think they look or sound impressive at all. And that line of buttons on the interior…ridiculous. Pass.

Very poor car review. I personally owned the c8 hardtop mid-engine convertible for almost 3 years now and me being at 55 years old and I have very high attention to detail it is a single most fun enjoyable car I've ever owned. It is very comfortable and the performance is fantastic and the longer that you own it the more you appreciate it.
Maybe putting the steering wheel on the right instead of the left messed it up but I don't think so.

A well rounded supercar- which has not the icks when you need to go to inspection and pay 4000+ for ppl that opened the trunk for you - like Porsche or Aston Martin does.
You expected what exactly? - Its the base level what you drove there - the critter is the z06 variant - which is beating the supercars while still having a price which is not even close to those of a Ferrari ...
Looking at trunkspace -- Did you even looked in a Ferrari or a Ford GT? You have no space there what so ever to fit your bag for a weekend ...
With the c8 Corvette you can drive - like you want - there is performance and there is the touring mode - while still being able to shop here and there.

This guy is crazy. Most exotic cars are complete junk and barely make it out of the shop, and literally have parts falling off of them. 0 to 60 in the low 3 seconds is slow?!. Ergonomics are great. Everything is naturally at the driver's finger tips. You have a huge trunk for a sports car as well as a frunk. You have a benevolent understeer unlike so many European cars, which have potentially fatal snap oversteer, especially in the rain. And you compare it to Lotus?! Seriously?! First a Lotus will seriously damage your hearing - when you actually get it to start. Lutuses are also cramped and uncomfortable. And you can get a completely stripped C8 for about $68K. Try to get that much car for that much money anywhere else: DCT, body-length air defusers, almost 500 hp and almost 500 pf of torque, and a trunk big enough for two seats of golf clubs. I suspect the reason there is only one dealership in the country is bc the British government won't allow more than that. Protectionism. And you want to talk about difficult to work with, try dealing with Porsche when you have a problem. Ferrari in comparision acts like they are doing you a favor by selling you a car, and they won't even let you chose the model you want to buy. They will tell you which model they will sell you, if they feel like it. As for McClarens, they barely run long enough for you to figure out how they drive, and they aren't exactly known for having a plethora of dealerships either.

As a Brit, I love the car, if it is that bad, just look at the sales figures, they speak for themselves. As an American car, they are built to be daily drivers that rack up high mileages, can't say that for the European exotics. I assume that the servicing costs on the Chevrolet are reasonable too. I own an AC cobra with a LS1 and Tremec tr6060, lovely, reliable Chevrolet motors.

This sure didn’t age well….Chevrolet sold 35k units of the C8 in 2023, more than the Camaro and encroaching on the # of units FORD sold of the Mustang at 50k. I think someone’s personal experience at said dealership really got the best of them and it seems to have come through in this video. The C8 is a world class sports car and the C8 Z06 is a world class super car. Watch any reviewer that actually tracks cars in their videos and you will get the polar opposite reaction and review. This was rather cringe…

I have never disagreed with a review more. Thankfully it's OK, cause most of the things you didn't like are subjective. Styling, interior firewall, etc.... can't get a better car for the money..

You have no business doing car reviews. You’re so out of line with the C8. The car is awesome for first attempt mid engine. It’s comfortable suspension is optional stiff or firm. You seem to not be happy with anything. The steering is fine and responsive. Plenty of power to get into trouble, you have no Buisness sharing this video. Get a clue dude.

This is the worst looking Corvette ever made. It wants to be a Ferrari. It makes the C7 look as good as a 67 Stingray.

Looks like Chevrolet missed the mark on this one. To regain sales in England, the cup holders will be replaced by Lardy cake tray with Alcantara fringe (2025 model for UK delivery). Optional pie platters will be available for both the frunk and trunk (*pies can be served warm by utilizing the trunk compartment) in leu of personal items/golf bag storage.
After expending many thousands of hours in engineering and development GM is making amends for "missing the mark" by offering these production changes and expanded option list for UK delivery.

If it is cutting you off at under 5,000 rpm then it isn't through the break in period.

Lt motors can easily rev to 7500 with johnson lifters a cam, springs and minor valve train upgrades and tuning. The only reason it hasnt been done yet on c8 is because the transmission tune is still locked and wont let it rev past 6600 but from what i heard hptuners is working on it
