The Israeli Air Force were very close to purchacing the V-22, but decided on the latest version of CH-53.
Would have liked to have seen a V-22 in IAF camo paint scheeme with the blue star. Great design and engineering.

I lived near the airport(ILG) where the V22 was prototyped and tested. It was routine to see them hovering and transitioning to forward flight. I was always in awe of this airplane.

Am I a plane? Am I a helicopter? I have no idea lol.

As a kid, I played LHX Attack Chopper, a game on the PC where you could fly an Osprey. Back then, I thought it was some kind of prototype or fantasy plane, that didn't really exist. so weird seemed to be the idea of pivoting the rotors and making a plane out of the helicopter.

Why are they waisting all the time taxi ing around to runnay whole big point of the planevti take off like a helicopter. What a joke
