I was a jerk to her in jail
ОтветитьThe 90s weren’t my favorite music but this was a highlight, and captures that very 90s style of the bright jangly strumming with the fuzzy loud electric guitars. This song was a little ahead of it’s time and that sound was everywhere by the late 90s.
ОтветитьMy brain, my entire life:
"What about breakfast at Tiffany's, she said I think I remember that film and it's horrible I think we both kinda lightheaded and I said well at least we're not fat.

ОтветитьI shoulda been an adult in the 90s. It was fucking awesome as a kid
ОтветитьPlease everyone see the film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in its uncut entirety. Truman Capote's light still shines brightly. It goes to all the dark places. Don't get blinded by Holly's dazzle. But she IS and will always be gorgeous. Pax y'all
ОтветитьGinger singer is beautiful

ОтветитьThis is one of those songs everyone knew no matter if you was watching the sun come up in the mountains or in the big city it didn’t matter it was the 90s big pants baggy shirts all cloths was made of quality and they cost even more then today and people took care of them you could get a hot rod a nice one that cost 100k for about 3500$ then maybe at the most 5k and the cars that are on the side of the rose dead they was new back then lolz last thing there was no bad music it was all good it’s was just a matter if you like that kind of music this song here jumped all kinds of people they all loved it
ОтветитьI went to high school with a younger brother of one of the fellas. I can't even tell you which one it was, it was so long ago. Me and his bro ran track and talked about bass guitar. Every time I hear this song I think about that kid. Long time ago.
ОтветитьGood one hit wonder song from Texas having folks talking about the meaning of the song forever.
ОтветитьI don't know which came first: this or "Hey Sandy" by Polaris but they're basically the same some. ...and both are excellent.

ОтветитьYou'll say we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
Still I know you just don't care
And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"
I see you, the only one who knew me
But now your eyes see through me
I guess I was wrong
So what now? It's plain to see we're over
And I hate when things are over
When so much is left undone
And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"
You'll say that we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
Still I know you just don't care
And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"
Ooh, and I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"
And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it"
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got"
I remember watching the clip on MTV with my brother in 1996 . Still in my palylist in 2023 .
