Got a brand new LIFT 33. Few shots in and there was already center serving separation. I'm running Victory RIP TKOs with the IP5 nocks. I notice the nock fitment was pretty tight when ever I loaded an arrow and my peep would always turn. Luckily I've done center servings in the past with my older bows, however BCY 62xs 0.018 is soo hard to come by lol. But found some online. And should be replacing my center serving this weekend.
ОтветитьI reserved my center serving since nock fit was to tight. Black eagle nocks seem to be larger, gold tip, aae, and easton nocks were all tight.
Pretty annoying to get aftermarket strings and have to cut them up and serve them so nocks fit properly.
Please no borat swim suit I’ll be in big sky lol
ОтветитьMan i wish all bow techs took nothin but PRIDE in what they do and would all go the extra mile to make their customers set up dead nuts perfect like u guys do. Theres ABSOLUTELY ZERO pro shows in north central Okla and to have to drive an hr and a half to find one only to have mediocre wrk done is super frustrating as hell!!!!
ОтветитьWho picked the background music?
ОтветитьCan you make a video on your camera set up for shooting, bow building, etc?!? Looking at getting started making content just needing help finding the angles and editing!!
ОтветитьHey Dan, I know we have to keep comments positive, so…I’m positive you need to ditch the distracting background music. Please.
ОтветитьI was new to archery and i thought knocks were knocks so i just grabbed and go. When i got home they fell off as i was drawing back
ОтветитьYo Dan the background music is a little distracting. No dis of course.
ОтветитьNIce video ... but STOP that annoing background music!
ОтветитьGreat show, but i don't get your reasoning behind saying the lift is hard to come by. My local bow shop has a shit ton in multiple colors.
ОтветитьVideo was great! Just don’t need the music! The knowledge is musical enough 🤙🏽
ОтветитьI understand nock fitment but all the adjustments to the cam doesn’t bow tech and elite make it simple 🤔 The 2 deer I hit last year with Halos the nock flew apart on impact
ОтветитьWhy don’t you guys run Beiter Hunters? Legit question here
ОтветитьAppreciate the archery knowledge rodeo, keeping it learning time guys!! 🏹 ❤
ОтветитьI put gas strings on my lift and the aae ip4 and halo micro nocks both fit perfectly. I measured it with micrometer but would like to know what size serving they use for there centers
ОтветитьMFJJ great seeing you at the Bow Disciples Challe ge II.
ОтветитьJust this weekend I realized the serving on my lift might be too thick. Got some new arrows and I had to try 3 different nocks to find one not too tight. Even then it’s still a little tight.
ОтветитьWouldn’t it be great if the various lighted nock people would make like two sizes throats for options. They don’t care apparently. Make it and sell it cause 99% of the hunters have no clue about this part of archery. Poor nock fit can be a huge part of having broadhead tuning/flight issues.
Ответитьlol, took me FOUR tries before i got my serving changed out correctly. Was my first journey into finding the best size serving for my lighted nocks. Sad there’s not much of an industry standard
ОтветитьI know how MFJJ thinks that serving twist determines arrow rotation (CW or CCW), and I totally agree with that. It seems like every string I’ve seen has the serving set up to make the arrow rotate CCW (left) from the factory. I think that setting up a couple different strings that have the center serving wrapped opposite directions and use a high speed slow motion camera to see how much that actually affects the arrow rotation would be cool. I’ve got my simple “physics” based theory as to why that would make a difference. I also think that serving size makes a difference in how much initial rotation the arrow gets. That being said, I think if the theory is proved then custom string manufactures should market left and right arrow rotation strings.
ОтветитьGreat Stuff guys!!!
ОтветитьBuying a 33 Lift in the next couple of days (Just sold my 29.5) and the first thing I’m doing is having the center serving redone. I thought my 29.5 serving was too tight as well. Great video as always! Looking forward to the TAC videos!
