i have the same exact watch same colors would never sell it madly in love with it although i have many others
ОтветитьMy heaviest and biggest Panzera Fleiger 46
ОтветитьI think the rubber strap is the way to go on an Aquis. Great clasp-keeps the weight down and less bling 👌🏻
ОтветитьNever buy a Rolex, Oleg.
ОтветитьOris aquis titanium is what I fell in love with yes it don't got the new movement but super accurate since I've had it and so light you don't even know you're wearing it
Ответитьyou're way too white for that watch
ОтветитьI have the cal 400 Aquis date 41.5mm, the best integrated bracelet watch that I have. It just works for me. I confess I've not tried the watch in this video so can't comment on that one. I have to agree though that if a watch becomes a chore to put on in the collection it is unlikely to be worn often other than to remind you that it is uncomfortable. Try a cal 400 if you get the chance as it would be very interesting to get you view on it compared to your last one.
Ответитьi have the newer version of the aquis and it is lighter. the old versions bracelet was very chunky. as you go up the luxury brands as you have for watches, the lesser value watches get less and less use.
ОтветитьWhat weight of the watch is acceptable for you?
ОтветитьOLEG IS THE BIGGEST WANKER IN NORTH AMERICA!
ОтветитьThanks for video, Oleg 🤝
ОтветитьBiggest regret in flipping watches was my Aquis small second titanium. All the positives of your watch without the weight penalty. Instantly regretted selling it. Heaviest watch in the collection by far is my Zelos hammerhead v3. Don't know the exact weight but I'm guessing a kilo.
ОтветитьI had this exact colorway for a couple of years, it was my first +$500 watch and I absolutely loved it. I sold it to purchase a seamaster, but I still miss it, it had so much soul.
Ответитьthanks for sharing this with us, Oleg.
I agree completely with you; two things that get overlooked a lot are the weight and the case height of some watches. I’m also guilty of that, because when I do my research about a certain watch, these two aspects were often looked at last. That’s the reason why I don’t often wear my Zelos watches on a bracelet. The swordfish and the Hammerhead look soo good, but they’re also two chunky fellas! And that’s also the reason why I sold my Helm Komodo.
Good video. Agree 100% about the importance of weight in the watch wearing and enjoyment experience.
ОтветитьHeaviest watch I have is the Steeldive Seiko Tuna homage.I haven't weighed it but I'm sure it's around 180 grammes or more..............................
ОтветитьI had the exact same issue with a gorgeous seiko monster.
ОтветитьGood video, man. I have a black dial version of your watch. It is a heavy watch and I am a little guy. I do feel it on the wrist, but I believe I can live with it. I truly love it, even though it is a bit weighty on the wrist by the end of the day. I guess that means I need to spend even more time at the gym.
ОтветитьThat’s why I opted for the Oris Divers titanium model, a 47mm that weighs pretty much nothing. Might wanna look into that option Oleg 🙂
ОтветитьI’ve still not reached the stage of selling watches but likely need to soon! Thanks for sharing your reasons !
ОтветитьYou really don't need it having a Tudor BB 58. Much better size and not so chunky.
Ответить190 grams is a lot. I got the new Oris Aquis 43.5 mm which is the heaviest watch in my collection and it weighs 165 grams
ОтветитьWe are all thinking, how much did you get for it?????
ОтветитьHello my friend. I left you a message on Instagram. I got the same oris 2 months ago. I have not worn this yet, but looking forward to it. To answer your question about the heaviest watch in my collection, that would be the Ball Hydrocarbon Racer blue.
ОтветитьJust get a Sinobi.
ОтветитьYou little bugger Oleg, I’m trying to sell my Oris Aquis 43.5mm, then you make this video! Ha, in fairness mine is a a 2017 but a very late one (December) so it has the much more tapered bracelet and therefore I assume it’s lighter than your model. Another way to tell is post 2017 ones have the word Aquis on the dial under the pinion like mine. Been honest if you do feel the bracelet version is too heavy or not to your taste (the polished links) for example, then I would wholeheartedly recommend the Oris rubber strap. I tried one on and it is really good quality and the clasp is sublime.
The only reason I’m selling it is that my tastes have changed and now I prefer watches without bezels. Plus I have way too many divers (mainly Seiko’s). Plus my new Christopher Ward Sealander C63 arrived to my surprise 4 months early. I just never wore it enough and is a waste just sitting in the box when someone else can enjoy it.
I went from affordable micro brand divers to a Rolex submariner—got tired of flipping watches 😎.
ОтветитьMuch lighter on the silicone strap of course.
ОтветитьMy 43.5 Aquis is my heaviest watch, wear it constantly - soon got used to the weight, but now feels odd for the few minutes a week I'm not wearing it 🤣
ОтветитьGeez could you stop at the balcony video. It gives me vertigo.
ОтветитьI knew that you were going to sell it as soon as I saw the new one released.
ОтветитьI like these videos, it helps provide a different perspective....has to be said it is an amazing looking watch....🏴⌚🏴⌚
ОтветитьAquis is purposeful tool watch. Love it.
ОтветитьThey world seems to be moving to smaller watches but not me. The size at 43 is great for me, it's the price that keeps me from buying one. I'm fond of the Great Barrier Reef version particularly. I'm never going to buy the 41s though. Maybe I'll get one someday. Not sure what my favorite, happiest watch is, maybe the Christopher Ward Ombre 42mm bronze?
ОтветитьMy heaviest watch? Well, that would be my ‘fun’ watch….my Invicta Joker. Weighing in at 13.1oz (372g) 🥴
ОтветитьI reviewed their 'Hulk' and loved it. One of my favourite entry level swiss luxury watches. The new movement is also another step ahead.
