Just watched the semifinals stream from Budapest. Huge congrats to Alex and Yannick for making it to the Olympics!
Rice pudding is a great tip for those emptier calories. 🙏
When you qualify to the final in Budapest Alex, you should get ticket to Paris. I keep fingers crossed
Good stuff! looking forward to some more outdoor sport climbing after the Olympics!
Bora Megos Maschine
Good Luck Alex. Have been following your journey for about 13 years.
Ответитьwhat gym is this spray wall at
Great vid Alex, schön schön
Sorato climbs so smart..."ok, lets do some campusing". Same as me in the gym, ok i am in my aerobic mesocycle... Uuu there is noone in the kilterboard.
Good luck, Alex, you deserve to be at the Olympics.
Ronnie coleman reference!
Very nice insight on the evolution of training for comp as a consequence of shifting comp styles ! Good luck for the next one!
I don't understand, why lead and boulder is one discipline and not seperated. Speed, boulder, lead, and combination.
4 medals.
It's like you have in riding only one medal in jumping and dressage.
Will try to see you in Budapest, good luck with the recovery!!4!
The campus on slopey holds looks like good comp training, but if you through in 1 foot move for coordination it could be better comp training (?) Anyway too late for budapest now. Will be cheering for you as always! Good luck!!!!
Yes Alex and Chris. I agree with all the others. Great video that gives us ordinary punters an insight into your thoughts and training. Good luck in the comps and looking forward to watching you in Paris.
Pay more attention to the climbing flow than the bicep size. I like it ❤
What’s the name of the song used in vid? It’s a total banger
Sorry to hear about the pulley rupture, and hoping that recovery & strength comes quickly! All the best with Budapest & Paris!
And thanks for sharing a little insight about the reality of training at an elite level.
I need a training partner like Chris! Super motivating video. Cmon Alex, you got this!!
True Bromance. Good luck, ich drücke die Daumen!
You can't win in the boulder round but you sure can lose. Good luck in Budapest.
Ответитьlos geht's Alex!
Alex was wondering if you could talk more on how you recover so quickly from a popped pulley thank you!!
Hope u won a medal! 🎉
ОтветитьHallo, lieber Alex!
Best climbing channel, all laughs and climbing, no youtubing
Ooohhh, are Alex' socks a sign, that the time of carrots is over?
No more carrots 4 power?
--> Radish 4 strength?😅
Viel Glück bei der Olympia-Quali!!!💪💪💪
i will always suport you , alex megos/. you can do everything .
What happened to your finger? (what injury did you get?)
Thanks guys for a very interesting video. I appreciate the honesty and the emotional insights you guys are giving us. I’m sure it’s not easy to open up an admit that modern climbing has changed and you two need to change your approach, too. I know the feeling when I’m at my local gym. Things have changed over the years…
Anyway, the wooden pinch at the end of your route and from there onwards to another yellow pinch is insane! I’m sure your forearms are probably pumped when you reach that wooden hold but still you have to hold it together at those two very pumpy holds… Sick! Very impressive!
Omg popped pulley 2 weeks ago and still world class is wild😮
Hope you'll make it to Paris 🥕🥕
It's cool to see a bit of you guys' relationship through both the lense of training together and friendship, the latter being potentially underappreciated by a lot of climbers
Viel Glück in Budapest, Paris wartet auf dich!!
Ответитьawesome video. Love the chemistry :D
Hi, super interesting video! I would be interested in video regarding your stance to injury, recovery and training through injury.
I love the tone shift from some of the more light-hearted content (love the goofy videos too of course). I can really feel the intensity building as the Olympics approaches, good luck!
Would be nice to hear about your process to recover and continue training with a pulley rupture. I get strains frequently. Recovering from 2 currently and I am just now starting to climb 12 wks into the process. It blows my mind you can climb hard this quick after a rupture.
Ответитьboth really strong!!!
