Chris Evans' Steroid Cycle - What I Think He Took For Captain America

I don’t think he was juiced. I’m a chiropractor who worked at the studio where he filmed his last three Marvel movies. I’ve done my share in the past and have a pretty good idea who takes them and who doesn’t. I can’t violate HIPPA, but let’s just say I speak on better authority with one on one contact than any of you on this post. He has good shoulders, chest and biceps packed on to a narrow waist which really highlights it. I’ve seen and touched the Captain America suit. There is an under-dressing that goes on first with some foam padded enhancements.

He is about 6’ and I would guess about 200 lb during Civil War

Perfect physique in my opinion. One of them anyway: good genetics, lean enough, attainable, good chest, shoulders, arms. What's not to like (for a woman) and what's not to be inspired by (as a natural guy)?

Derek is so far left field on this that it's not even funny. I think Chris has the IDEAL male physique in the first Captain America. If there's any physique that I strive to replicate, it's definitely his. Packing that much size but also having an athletic and lean look is what gets you the most respect. He's mobile and durable with an imposing size, too! I'd much rather look like him than an IFBB pro bodybuilder. The fact that Derek is so unimpressed means that he's got a genuinely skewed perception of what a good physique looks like. I love the guy, he's extremely knowledgeable, but even he can be manipulated by today's fitness industry's ridiculous standards.

I agree. I never felt Chris took any PEDs at all. To me, he looked around 175 for the human torch snd about 185-190 for Cap. I always presumed for Cap, he simply wore a small-medium T-shirts to give him the appearance of a jacked jock type. His "transformation" was subtle, as opposed to someone like Chris Hemsworth who looks to be in near ifbb shape for Thor most of the time.

I think he's natural. Taking any kind of gear would of course be up to each actor, even if the studio or other people in Hollywood encourage them, it's there choice. Hell, some actors, such as Michael Keaton and the newest Batman have even refused to get in shape, so there you go.

I don’t think he started out taking anything. He likely had sufficient time to add 10lbs of bulk (lean mass and some fat mass). Especially as he worked out overtime.

However, given the work schedule of the films in later phases, I wouldn’t be surprised to know he took some PEDs to keep up the physique as he aged and had less time to workout.

I think he admitted to things like wearing a wig, taking hair loss supplements, and of course being rich and being able to afford someone to curate his meals for his dietary needs.

I think it's not even his body in the Skinny Capt. America shots, they didn't use CGI over his body, the just put his head over someone else's body.
