It's ironic that the match is Norrie vs Ruud and that Norrie was the rude one. Don't like his celebrations
ОтветитьFor what's worth, in Ruud's lone hard court (and non-clay) title, he beat Norrie in the final. In that final Norrie won just two games
ОтветитьNorrie's knuckle ball backhand must be giving Ruud nightmares! 🎾😱
ОтветитьHe better just stick with double tennis, this dude is garbage.
ОтветитьHonestly, if you saw Cam Norrie hitting in a park, would you think no way this guy is good at tennis with those wonky strokes?
ОтветитьCaaaaaaaaaaam! Great job 🌟
ОтветитьRuud for all his talent doesn't have the depth of game and firepower to get to the top.
ОтветитьWhata fuqen JOKE FOR TALENT going into the rd of 16, ffs dying sport.
ОтветитьThe AO tennis coverage on Channel 9 Australia is rubbish. The match program guide never follows what is being seen on their channels. The AO organisation made a big mistake awarding the rights to a bunch of amateurs.
ОтветитьCam's backhand is an ugly, effective thing.
ОтветитьWe all thought this would be a slugging baseline duel when we first saw this matchup, so credit to Norrie for changing up the gamestyle that he has used for years…this season looking very promising, especially if he can translate this attacking net game to the grass courts
ОтветитьCasper Ruud needs to watch some of Roger Federer’s matches - to improve his offensive game… and then watch some of Rafael Nadal matches to perfect his defensive games.
If he could combine both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal’s games’ style together, he would go undefeated starting in grand slams or in any tours.
Hope, he starts to figure this out.
HE'S GOT SOME STRANGE STROKES...
ОтветитьNice job. We’ll claim him. He’s a kiwi 😂
ОтветитьDon't worry Rudd, you've got 250 clay tournaments incoming!
ОтветитьHuge win for Norrie. Unorthodox backhand but makes it work at the highest level. Impressive
ОтветитьTotally fixed tournament by betway etc😂😂😂
ОтветитьThese guys are pretty close, but today was Norries's day.
ОтветитьTo be honest, Casper Ruud 's backhand is only better than Tsitsipas's one in top 16 seed.
Ответитьproblem with Ruud is that he plays too safe.
ОтветитьSad to see Casper out.
He was mentally and physically tired from his previous game. But last year was dismal performance from 3 to 11.
It is time that Casper needs an additional coach that would propel him to win Grandslams.
His dad is ok but he needs additional coach. He needs to have plan B too.
You are good player….
Good game guys congratulations Norie🎉🎉🎉lots of up sets in this open🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьCasper hasn’t had it in a while…but Norrie is a little prairie dog out there.
ОтветитьNorrie had almost all the answers for Ruud's brilkant shot making. this alone can be frustating for any opponent and pull them out of rhythm.
ОтветитьCasper Ruud reminds me of a slightly better version of the etermally boring Mats Wilander, a strokeless wonder and returning machine who tored his opponents out and literally put their game to sleep!
ОтветитьFor thr love of god and all that is holy can you please stop puttimg the winners picture on the thumbnail!!!? We want to enjoy the highlights to see who wins!!!
ОтветитьFor some reason Casper Ruud reminds me of a "faster" Mats Wilander.
ОтветитьRuud really lacks something in the head department...
ОтветитьWill all due respect to Norre Ruud should not lose to him if he wanna be back to the top 10
Ответитьin the battle of two baseline counter-punchers, norrie seemed more aggressive, coming to net more than i've ever seen him.
Ответитьthose two 0-40 games norrie defended were insane. Casper had plenty of opportunities. More than norrie actually and still could not convert. taking 10 steps back on norries second serve when leading the game is just atrocious tennis... Classic Ruud
ОтветитьRuud is gone. He’s just a filler opponent, not someone who will win a grand slam
ОтветитьNorrie has the most horrendous looking backhand in the history of men's tennis.
ОтветитьIf Jimmy Connors played in 2024, it would look just like Norrie.
ОтветитьNorrie's net play was the difference!
Ответитьwhat has happened to this year's AO whatever it is i'm loving it
ОтветитьRuud has no true weapons and his ranking is a bit overrated with plenty of 250s to his name and weak Slam finals runs. I hope he adds some variety to his game.. it'll make the difference in this baseline heavy game these days.
ОтветитьNorrie has the most simple and direct backhand, and such a complicated forehand with the weird takeback and wrist lag. Strange combo.
Ответитьdammit. Just put it to Norrie's backhand, man. He cannot play backhand and there is no way such an ugly backhand can land.
ОтветитьTwo of the most unwatchable and uninteresting players on the entire tour.
ОтветитьRuud could not get enough rest from previous 5 setter match.
ОтветитьRuud has pretty much owned him so Norrie must feel real good about this one.
ОтветитьI can't stand to watch Norrie playing (win or loose). Watching him is like trying to watch a Richard Gere or Morris Chestnut movie.
ОтветитьNORRIE LETGO QUETAFINAL
Ответитьpeople say ruud is underrated, not at all
ОтветитьClearly Rudd was a wreck going into this match, both physical and mental. The last 5 setter he played against Purcell meant just that.
ОтветитьRune would have eaten rudd
ОтветитьNorrie the G.O.A.T. 😆🤣
Ruud can give his 100% only on clay court. I'm sorry he lost.
A lovely guy, but it seems the tour has figured Casper out. His weapons are limited. Ruud can't hurt you unless you hurt yourself.
