The AO tennis coverage on Channel 9 Australia is rubbish. The match program guide never follows what is being seen on their channels. The AO organisation made a big mistake awarding the rights to a bunch of amateurs.

We all thought this would be a slugging baseline duel when we first saw this matchup, so credit to Norrie for changing up the gamestyle that he has used for years…this season looking very promising, especially if he can translate this attacking net game to the grass courts

Casper Ruud needs to watch some of Roger Federer’s matches - to improve his offensive game… and then watch some of Rafael Nadal matches to perfect his defensive games.
If he could combine both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal’s games’ style together, he would go undefeated starting in grand slams or in any tours.
Hope, he starts to figure this out.

He was mentally and physically tired from his previous game. But last year was dismal performance from 3 to 11.
It is time that Casper needs an additional coach that would propel him to win Grandslams.

Norrie had almost all the answers for Ruud's brilkant shot making. this alone can be frustating for any opponent and pull them out of rhythm.

Casper Ruud reminds me of a slightly better version of the etermally boring Mats Wilander, a strokeless wonder and returning machine who tored his opponents out and literally put their game to sleep!

in the battle of two baseline counter-punchers, norrie seemed more aggressive, coming to net more than i've ever seen him.

those two 0-40 games norrie defended were insane. Casper had plenty of opportunities. More than norrie actually and still could not convert. taking 10 steps back on norries second serve when leading the game is just atrocious tennis... Classic Ruud

Ruud has no true weapons and his ranking is a bit overrated with plenty of 250s to his name and weak Slam finals runs. I hope he adds some variety to his game.. it'll make the difference in this baseline heavy game these days.

Norrie has the most simple and direct backhand, and such a complicated forehand with the weird takeback and wrist lag. Strange combo.
