Another great compilation of forgotten TV show intros. Thanks for sharing.
Ответить"The Hero" was a favorite of mine back in 66, I had a crush on Mariette Hartley. Thanks for finding the intro for a great series I haven't seen in 46 years. I thought, I was the only person that remembered that short-lived series.
ОтветитьThere are only three shows in this bunch that I would want to see: Slattery's people< The Law And Mr. Jones, and, probably, The Jean Arthur show,Because she is one of my favorites. Incidentally, The Slattery's People intro is from the truncated second season.
ОтветитьGovernor and J.J. began in the fall of 1969 and ran till December 1970, with a summer repeat run in 1972. So it's easy how to think it was a 70s series which, in a way, it was, but technically, it made its debut at the tail end of the 60s so in that sense it qualifies as such.
ОтветитьI just had a feeling that that show was on in the '70s, and now I know why I did. Thanks!
ОтветитьBrought to you by... Dairylea ! (The Dairymens League), The makers of the finest Dairy products in the world!
ОтветитьDespite the so-so ratings, Bob Newhart won his first Emmy for this 1960-1961 self-titled show (first clip on this reel).
ОтветитьMariette Hartley!
ОтветитьPete and Gladys was really funny but just never caught on!
ОтветитьLove the living color in black and white.
ОтветитьThat landing in "The Gallant Men" is at Anzio but the music is from "Objective Burma". it must have been very confusing.
ОтветитьAnybody else notice the similarity in the opening sequence of MY FRIEND TONY to that of I SPY? OK, Sheldon Leonard was behind both...
Ответить"The Rounders" always cracks me up..."Old Fooler" got his own screen credit !
ОтветитьJames Whitmore shows up twice. And, Darren Mc Gavin. And why not??
ОтветитьWhen life was simpler and the only beating I received was from my mother.
