Do these have the talk to write feature? Student and just bought the 14 x today from Best buy I didn't check to see if it had that feature. I'm hoping so because it gives me a break from staring at the screen so long.

Asus has a strange design concept.
They will put in a great display and perhaps even a discrete GPU in thei TOP laptops.
Then place a netbook qulaity, unusable trackpad.
Zenbooks have a terrible user experience.

it runs windows, so no there isnt any concern or worry, also the Mac laptop running the M chip and the very little power consumption, doesn't over heat, so no doesn't matter how good the Asus is it's not going to win over a Macbook Air, this Asus comparison should be against other Windows machines

bought the 14.5x at $749.99. love it. you cannot beat the value at that price.
bought it for school going from a razer blade 15, to a dell xps 15, to the 14.5X and getting some money back, and i am happy with deciding on the asus.

Honestly, I don't even know what other manufacturers other than Asus and Apple do anymore. Any Laptop I ever considered buying was from Apple or Asus. Maybe it's just me but most other companies just put parts into a case, whereas these two actually make Laptops. And I'll admit, that AMD processors and therefore battery life is a big part of it. This is also the biggest reason to not buy most Windows Laptops.

But currently apple is a better pick, since M2 chip 8GB is cheaper than zenbook i7 16GB.

Which one will overheat more? I’m not pushing thing too much but I’m a student and need my laptop to last. The 14x specs are amazing and only like $100 more than the 14 at the moment. Just not sure what is more appropriate for my needs.

I'm looking for a new laptop, and I'm very interested in the 14X but have a concern about it not having a dedicated graphics card. I'm an artist and do some photo editing in Adobe Photoshop. I know that on some 14X models they do have a dedicated graphics card but the price range is out of my budget. I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Thank you.

Sounds like a great laptop if you're forced to use x86 (some people are, the poor buggers). The fan noise would make me lose my mind, it's the main thing that's driven me to the Apple M series. Apart from gaming, you would probably get better performance running Windows in the Rosetta emulator on a macBook Pro, but at a much higher price point. I guess you get what you pay for. If gaming matters, this would be a good laptop.

This is really driving me nuts. Since this video, I've been trying to find a good deal for the 14x. Well, it's impossible.
It's easy to find it for $999 on U.S. websites, but where I live it costs the equivalent of $1700!
Also, there are models with higher specs in the U.S. that cost way less than models with lower specs that i can find here. For example, the model with the i9 + 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD costs $1400 in the U.S. and the equivalent of $2400 here!
The difference in price is way too high, it's crazy.

I've seen that there are some services that ship internationally when buying from some U.S. websites that don't offer international shipment (like bestbuy); can anybody reccomend a service like that which is reliable and trustworthy?

I found another model of 14x, which is q420va or q420. I have tried looking up this model but I have not seen anyone reviewing this model beside the Ux3404. So could you or anyone else give some information on the difference between these 2 models, and which one will be the best for me to learn programming, watch netflix, anime and some of gaming.

Thank you for a very good comparison! One thing that was kind of strange is why Apple should be afraid? Absolutely none of the "performance" features of those Asus laptops are not in the same league as m2 pro macbook. I thought there was finally a laptop on the market that I could buy instead of a macbook. But no such thing :( On the other hand, if you have a relatively smaller budget then you compromise in every way - here this Asus will shine.

These clickbaity videos are the biggest joke ever. Way to compare Apple's to f'n oranges. In what parallel universe does Asus make those people looking for an Apple ecosystem machine think twice? You do realize it's not just the pure specs right? If pure specs were the sole reason, Apple would barely sell any iPhones, so the question is was this useless video released as satire or do you really think you've discovered something here, cause you've gotta be f'n Joshing me Josh. You still have time to delete this 💩
