Which country does DMU 50 series were built ?

I can't get over the eco line China made machines. I'd be hesitant to buy anything from that company made after they merged with dmg.

This japanese machine tool company (dmg mori seiki) has also a large subsidiary in europe, i think, a really impressing japanese company !

Mikron E500u has more power, faster rapids and greater B-axis limits that is double supported (not cantilevered). Can be had with upto 240 tools, too! Mikron is also Much cheaper with 7 automation pallets attached. Clear winner is Mikron, IMHO.

Another big company thinking that touch screen are cool. They need to hire gamers and get told that touch screen is for boomers not millennials.

I have been assembling the dmu50 1st and 2nd gen machines for 4 years now, and I still think they are the coolest machine in it's class. I hope to get my hands on a 3rd gen soon. Having been literally inside every nook and cranny of the dmu the next gen looks so technical and cool. Once I hit the lottery...
