Females need to choose better partners in general. Do your own investigation on everyone you come into contact with. Logical people over think, that’s a good thing. I have sisters I always tell them never think things will be ok if you feel like somebody is off, keep distance or go and speak to someone that can hopefully help you better then I can. I’m sorry, if it gets to the point where a man is breaking into my house and threatening me, it’s clear that it’s going to get to a point where it’s either my life or his. I’m getting a gun, a baseball bat, a tazer…whatever it takes to protect myself and take HIM out before he takes ME out.

I just watched a video by an American who spent some time in Brazil recently. The subject is the very common practice of killing women by jilted men who insist that no one else would have any woman who jilt them.

20yrs is too light. In my country, this guy will be hanged to death by the law. And if he survived, he will be hanged again

But we need to consider the fact that in this case both the killer and his victim were Brazilian nationals. Had Cecilia been an Australian, it wouldve been next to impossible to catch the killer in Brazil. Brazilian police acted only because the victim was one of their own and Cecilias mother in Brazil lodged a complaint against Santoro in Brazil.

Followed this case right from day 1. I am happy how the authorities in both countries worked together to bring the killer to justice.
