Jesse pretty much just summed up whay the world would be like without religion "i finally understand, that we we would all be better off without a needy little bitch like you around". A truly great journey for jesse as he spent all those years tracking down god to ask for forgivness but realised humans mean nothing to god excpet they were only made to feed his ego

Im just disappointed this series wasn't close to the source or at least did what the boys done and added some creativity to it. I really like the comics as farfetched as it was. Sucks but whats done is done....

This moment pops up in my head from time to time. The way he goes "I don't fuckin' need it" is so iconic. For me...this is it. This is the show, it's my #1 TV series. Glad I checked it out back in 2019 literally gave me countless hours of enjoyment and laughter.

Me doi cuenta de que la caja de comentarios esta llena de gente quejandose de que no es igual al comic, el comic me parece una obra maestra pero en mi opinion la serie supero al comic, este aprovecha de mejor manera a sus personajes, Satan, Jesus y su hijo tienen mas participacion en la historia, Dios es mejor antagonista en la serie que en el comic, Jodi y T.C me calleron mejor en la serie y ademas tienen mas participacion en la historia. Jesse fue el mejor personaje, mucho mas interesante que su version del comic ya que en esta version el si creyo en Dios durante toda la serie, generando una crisis en el personaje cuando descubre que Dios es malvado.

I really REALLY think it’s cool that people get invested enough to generate conversations based on opinions, personal experiences etc. But pls remember to let each other have their say, listen and engage. Be conscious even courteous. Drop the mudslinging and small dick one liners.

This has got to be up there with CW’s DC show as the worst adaptations of all time. A complete shame too cause they have such great, well written, complex and unique stories but they still just decide to throw this crap together. This scene looks like it was written by 12 year old. I mean it’s so ridiculous to the point it’s not even entertaining. If you think this show is good for the love of god please go buy a preacher comic and sit down and read for a little bit, it will be so much more rewarding then this childish BS

So sad how this show turned out when it had so much potential. The comic series is so damn good but I always felt the show fell way too short. They just strayed way too far from the original story, in my opinion. Plus, Dominic Cooper is a fantastic actor but I always felt like he was miscast as Jesse. Again, just my opinion.

I'll have to research it all one day, but I'm still disappointed they left out some things from the comics.

I would have loved if they adapted his arc of depression and meeting his mother.

A better Cassidy was cool, but a hateful conflicted one like the comics would have been a fascinating experience on tv.

I actually read the comics after since starting the tv series first.
It was great, but I can't remember what else I was a little letdown that they didn't adapt.
I guess the ending was different.
