Cool
ОтветитьBeing the 911 more sophisticated than the Cayman, inside the cabin the sound of the GT4 seems even more spectacular to me than in the GT3.
At 9,000 rpm. that metallic sound with the engine pressed against your back invites you to step on throttle and not get tired of laps around (on track of course).
About street cars, for me there is nothing more addictive than these Porsches. Neither Ferraris, nor Lamborghinis, nor Mclarens, no matter how expensive and sophisticated they may be.
I find the closest thing to this sound in naturally aspirated V12 engines of F1 from the early 90s, especially the Ferrari 640 and successive ones piloted by Mansell, Berger, Prost and Alesi, and also the Honda engine in Senna's McLaren.
Also what were a delight to listen to were the 4-cylinder engines of the BMW M3 E30 and Mercedes 190 2.5 16 v of the German DTM with an unmistakable metallic hum at high rpm.
Well done review. Extra points for wearing a proper watch.
ОтветитьHey hey don’t use that God’s name in vanity!
ОтветитьGT4 IS A GOOD CAR BUT VERY EXPENSIVE, AND THE GT3 is a legend NO CONTEST 😂👌
Ответитьyou would think GT4 rs would be slightly cheaper which would opt buyer into buying one rather than a GT3. but they are literally the exact same price range.
ОтветитьGT3 with a MANUAL
ОтветитьThe best car Porsche makes is their 718 Spyder
ОтветитьAfter watching various GT3 and GT4RS, videos over time, the ones that really showed an experience as much as a review and just how good the GT4 RS was and sounded, I suddenly became curious how they really compared and watched selected videos back to back.
Then found your direct comparison. You determined with a road focus more or less what I thought you'd say. But yet I was still surprised by that confirmation as I think you were a bit too.
You know what would make a GT4 RS even better? A manual gearbox. And that's why the GT3 wins in this regard.
ОтветитьGray review thanks!!
ОтветитьWhere are these roads , I guess wales but exactly? 👍
ОтветитьExcellent review. Well made. As an ‘Average Joe’ with a plain ‘ol GT4, it’s flawless, for me. It’s my benchmark.
ОтветитьToo bad dealers and flippers are gouging the average buyer.. 150k over msrp.. just dumb
ОтветитьWant to be alive with you GT4 RS!
ОтветитьWorld’s highest spec GT4RS? @viola_gt4rs
ОтветитьI was always waiting for the day Porsche takes the Cayman and gives it proper aero and power
ОтветитьThis is why NA cars are the best.
ОтветитьI would kill to drive one of these cars for a few hours 😍😭😭😭
ОтветитьThank you for high quality review and great editing. Having driven both cars on the road and on the track, I can’t agree on the verdict though. GT4 RS just feels a previous generation car vs GT3 and it’s a lot less potent on the track.
ОтветитьI actually think the Cayman GT4 is a better looking car than the current GT3.
ОтветитьLove your passion when describing these cars👍🏼❤️😎
ОтветитьPrecisely why EV are faster but way less fun.
ОтветитьFor my money - I’d be comparing the cayman gts 4.0 v the 911 gts…..both with manuals. For someone like me (who doesn’t track my road cars), the gts trim is plenty sporting in either platform but doesn’t require the compromises in livability that these two must. It’s also asking a fair bit more $ for these.
ОтветитьNearly clipped a couple of my sheep there lad!!!!!!
ОтветитьUnless yuou're qualified to drive either on a race track.....
Ironically these cars j mostly will never see a race track ....9/10 owners. will only drive them stoplight to stoplight...LOL!! :)
nice, But,, I wish you journalists could departmentalize sound from the rest of the review. hard to tell if the gt4 sound is what won you over, or not?
ОтветитьCan't watch right handed reviews.
ОтветитьTalks about 9k rpm. Didn‘t rev to 9k even once.
ОтветитьVery good. Sad impossible to get hold of them!
ОтветитьGRANDE PORSCHE 🔝 🔝 🔝 🔝
Ответитьcayman = people will always think, u cant afford the 911...
ОтветитьGT4RS engine in the GT3 is my choice.
ОтветитьCareful the sheep!!
ОтветитьGT3 will always be the boss.
ОтветитьAnyone know the road in this vid (the one overlooking the valley / town)?
ОтветитьWhat a great review, thanks! Having owned a GT3 and having a Boxster Spyder on order, I fully agree with this assessment. Both wonderful cars for all the right reasons.
Ответитьgood
ОтветитьBest driver’s cars of all time.
Ответитьno bubget no prob. we can always go to honda's s2000 100% fun 😬✌️
ОтветитьAs tech mores on cars like this will be a serious loss.
Personally If it were my money GT4 rs
man if they were able to fit in a 6mt in that gt4rs
ОтветитьCracking review! Mesmerized by the jacket moving around in the back “seat”.
ОтветитьPresenter: watch me accelerate all the way for 5 seconds …using all 500hp+ & 9,000rpm… while keeping withjn the speed limit @ 70mph ..
Me : 🤔💭💭
He just claimed 0-62 in 3.4 sec right?
So 🧐💬💬💬
what was his actual speed after
His 5 second run ?
The two best cars in the world .No competition for them two .
.
I would always take the 911!
ОтветитьAwesome cars but more importantly what's the road and where abouts is it?? Wales maybe??
Ответитьit's alive
ОтветитьGuys get in an exige 410 sport and tell me it’s less exciting than a gt3. For a start it has no power steering which ads so much to the experience. Gt3 is nice but it’s massive on my Welsh roads. There is much more entertaining stuff out there I assure you.
ОтветитьI suspect the 9/11 is not so rear-engine anymore as Porsche would like you to think
Ответить
