Yup. Watching it again.
ОтветитьTo all the people saying the mustang couldn't keep up with the charger in the straights..... duh. Thats was the ford 427 Galaxie 500s job and it did it so much better that nascar banned it 😜
ОтветитьThis movie put Mustang sales through the roof.
Ответитьtake a shot for every Volkswagen Beetle you see in this entire sequence
ОтветитьWhat kinds of cars are they driving and damn that chase looks fun😁
ОтветитьTheblack car isjust as nice!!
ОтветитьThis is a fantastic chase. Truly one of the top ones but the original 1974 Gone In 60 Seconds takes the cake for greatest chase scenes ever.
ОтветитьCity was so pretty before minorities ruined it
ОтветитьHow the hell is this the greatest car chase scene ever!!!!! DAFUQ
ОтветитьGreatest how? The first 3mins is a pursuit not a chase…It was boring,as far as innovative shots for car chases, sure…But action wise it was dull asF.
Ответитьinteresting chase.. But not the best. The best chasing is in a movie, called, the burglars, starring Omar Sherif.
ОтветитьMan, this still holds up today. The cinematography, editing, and sound work are amazing.
ОтветитьNothing sounds like a 60's or 70's Musclecar..And Guess what? Nothing Pulls like those Either.
ОтветитьSteve Was The Baddest Ass Love This Man. This Driving was Incredible.
ОтветитьThat music helps to make it the best scene ever. This film score is just amazing.
ОтветитьActually 2 cars are used in this chase a jump car and a heavily modified speed version to keep up With Bill Hickmans" charger.
ОтветитьThe part where the music immediately cuts off when the charger burns rubber is fucking phenomenal 🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьGreat car chase. Not so great movie
ОтветитьThe Goat
ОтветитьBoth cars, but the charger especially, sure do look like they handle like dog-dirt. But that makes the chase more thrilling to be honest
ОтветитьThe sheer thuggish savagery is what makes this scene great.
ОтветитьI watched this for the first time on airplane with headphones. Slight turbulence and the headphones feeding the loud V8 noises into my ears was so immersive. I was flinching every time there was a close call.
ОтветитьWhat makes this great to me is what they did with the tech they had back then ...
Ответитьthe greatest car chase ever.never bern beaten and truly iconic.
ОтветитьSteve Mcqueen here a bit like Paul Walker ....
ОтветитьJjz 109 where are you
ОтветитьPopo at Dunkin’ Donuts
ОтветитьSuperb score by Lalo Schfrin. Builds the tension during the cat and mouse antils but stays silent once the high speed chase starts, where it woiuld be competing against screeching tyres and revving engines anyway.
Ответитьこれはすごいリアリズムだ
ОтветитьThe greatest movie car chase of all time. Hands down, no arguments.
ОтветитьWho is here after watching episode from the the pawn stars
ОтветитьDefinition of cool, what a scene and perfect backdrop for the same.
ОтветитьHollywood, I love how the viewers see the view from inside (looking) through the side window of the car looks like they’re going 60 miles an hour but through the front windshield they are going half that speed! 😂
Ответить4 wheels - 5 hup caps
ОтветитьLooks like then-17-year-old Dennis the Menace finally pushed his dad over the edge. 🤪
PS-- Yes, I know it's Bill Hickman and not Herb Anderson...😁
Still the best hands down!
ОтветитьBrutal!
ОтветитьLove the way he did that side glance at the start and registered something was amiss.... and then we he turned up behind them in the rear view mirror!
ОтветитьPasses that green VW several times
ОтветитьNow lets Do Cybertruck against F150. Music by Hans Zimmer.
Ответитьnot only is it the best car chase scene, it has the best engine sounds.
ОтветитьOverblown Hollywood nonsense with closed off streets and silly explosions at the end of the chase designed to thrill a 16 year old kid and his juvenile friends, Bullitt can't hold a candle to the car chase in The French Connection that ends with Popeye Doyle blowing away the sniper hired by the drug gang to assassinate him. The film industry, back before it had its head jammed up its ass, recognized the brilliance of The French Connection with five Academy Awards. Bullitt, by comparison, is a largely forgotten film, bogged down by the McQueen - Bissett romance angle that sucks the life out of the movie, and is only remembered for its car chase ... where Steve McQueen passes the same green VW bug four times *eye roll* LOL
ОтветитьMan I m in love with this Mustang fastback. Steve McQueen's driving awesome 👍
ОтветитьI'd love to have seen that on the big screen. One of my favourite film sequences of all time. And the VW Beetle deserves an Oscar lol.
ОтветитьThe father of the car chase
