Hey guys. Totally enjoying watching you explore Thailand. The count down is on for my return November 10th. Here is one little pronunciation tip that has really helped me. Only in the case of “ch” do you pronounce it the way we English speakers do. In all other cases you ignore the “h”. So Thong is pronounced Tong. Phong is pronounced Pong etc. etc. cheers

Krabi is the best, but were you stoned or was the visit to Railay not well prepared? Because unfortunately you missed the most beautiful and famous beach in Railay, perhaps even in Thailand, the Phra Nang Cave Beach!😅

Just gotta say we have just left Koh Samui and we hired a new scooter for a week and only paid 212 baht a day…think what you paid seemed a bit much and I’m sure there are plenty of scooter hire places in Krabi so not sure why price was so high.
We have not been there …so i could be wrong…..anyway….keep up the good work.

Krabi is my next destination for sure, having lived in Thailand for many years there are so many places here that just ooze relaxation and being content with life.

If you can interact in that way with the elephants then i'm sorry it isn't an ethical sanctuary. The only ethical sanctuaries in Thailand are outside of Chiang Mai where you have to trek into the jungle to see them. Not wash them, which is super bad for them or walk along the road with them. Elephants need mud or dirt on their skin to protect them from the sun, bugs etc and just think of tourists washing them over and over and over and over and over again. It's awful and should not be done. Any time an elephant is made to perform an unnatural activity it is NOT an ethical sanctuary. What you see and what they tell you should be taken with a grain of salt as often these places interchange the elephants with another so called sanctuary they have, where people are allowed to ride the elephants. There are VERY few legit sanctuaries in Thailand. VERY VERY FEW and it looks like you were led astray. I love you guys but you stuffed up with this one, not enough research was done.

You missed the best beach on Railay beach! Go back where the penis cove is. Most beautiful beach in the world. The rest is just meh.

“You don’t want to film kids”, wow, says what negative mentality you have. People have problems, don’t find them either. The environment has problems, don’t find it either. Your thinking is part of the problem.

I visited that same sanctuary during Covid in 2022 and I was the only tourist there ! What a fantastic experience! Thank you guys for this amazing episode in Beautiful Krabi !

Sorry you are 40 years to late, Krabi was paradise then.
Now you need to find a friend in the military, to take you to the off limits beaches. Then you may find paradise again.

I think most elephants are well looked after in tourist areas without any ethical issues. They are already domesticated and have to be looked after. Wish I had someone give me a mud bath every day.

Krabi is beautiful. Your elephant sanctuary is still not rite. A proper sanctuary does not let tourists wash the elephants with scrubbers.They produce their own oils, and you are washing it off. 😢
