Crazy two weeks live in the Philippines: Parties, Tournaments, New Year and even a bit of Christmas

Wow, what a time, finally things are back to normal, with many activities and social events. This Video definitely also will be a bit of culture shock for some of the Western viewers. Starting off with visiting another village for some Christmas donations, we later on went into the mountains again. On a very difficult adventure street, where you need to be very careful. And we went to a Gay Model show or something like that, really confusing to see things like that in the Philippines. The Philippines is so conservative, but the whole village comes together to watch men dressed as women embarrassing themself. At least that was my impression. I know many things are just shown, but don't really go together with the so dominant Catholic faith in my opinion. It was very funny, and maybe thats it, was a comedy rather than a political statement like it would be in the West.

The most exciting part about Christmas was for me the Sports tournament we helped organise in Town. All the Sports clubs in the Week before Christmas had tournaments. I tried to go to most things, but it was so many. But I enjoyed Futsal (Football / Soccor on a Basketball field), Volleyball, Sepak Tarraw (which is fantastic to watch), and of course Basketball.
Borrownouts made it more difficult, but it was well organised.

Then we had our Christmas party for the whole business and also the Christmas Eve where we had many guests in our Hotel. Which is our main income. For our builders, we try to give them some useful tools as presents as well, so they can get better at the work they do. That is important to us.

As hobby farmers also was the time to plat the onins, which made that week even busier.

But finally, we celebrated the new year nicely on the beach, with friends and family.

And our first Rest day we made some homemade Pasta, which we enjoyed for Date night.
