This is so true for everything in life, we let our emotions handicap us too easily. Same with sports. As a goalie you should be aware of your save percentage and win percentage and therefore know your odds of success. And so your results shouldn't make you emotional, since apart from some variance/luck your results are basically baked in based on preparation or lack of before the game/trade.

That is correct, Sir! I also completely rekt my account at one point, from 5K to almost 100k, then back to 0, then from zero to a lot more than before! But now I'd never risk that much, I only trade spot now (really thankful to leveraged tokens so i can profit on the downside), with much less aggressive positions and I never touch my SL. Also fk hodling! If you keep hodling on forever (except BTC) you are surely getting rekt at some point!
