Okay, then. I was just remembering how people were talking of a Rolling Stones song that says shes like a rainbow, comes in colors everywhere or something like that. So, these guys around me start talking about how they'd love to meet a girl like that! And, I said, "Sounds like an advanced stage yeast infection, at best." People were always asking me why I had to ruin their fantasies and /or bring the party down and I'd say, "Because it is stupid and will do much harm to be continued." Total metaphoric punch to the face with realism.

Esfp here, in my experience, Estp's have knowledge in one particular subject that will be shared with others around them, and in this case, politics.

I do well in school cause it usually comes easy to me, though when we have to learn easy or repetitive stuff I half-sleep.

As a former ENFP whose latest test said I am now an ESTP which I was unsure about and am now exploring….yeah, all this hits the nail on the head. 😅😂

Seriously, INTJ INFJ - I would get those over and over. They were very "YES! ! ... but" So, I find a different site and take it and ISTP. Hey, Clint Eastwood gets mentioned. I found him to be a great role model in many ways. This is very "Yes, yes, yes!!! " until the day there is a "..but ..." and that was the day you talked of ISFP, which are "Yes! BUT .." so I decided to go back to the psychology site, try again and in the process also decided to pray. And, now, I have no "but" and I hope I don't get one. I am a little worried I might, but I think that's because I am naturally predisposed to not commit to anything.

This sounded so exactly like my brother that I can't deny it's me, even though I'd like to argue some points just because I am old, sick and tired and its cramping my style to the point of "changing" my reality. It's only been every now and again, like when a drug dealer threatened me or I was at a music festival and a tent pole started falling, that I was reminded of who I really am. And, who I am, in great part, is the person that my former sister-in-law said of (back when she was his girlfriend), "You are JUST like your brother!" in an allegedly unflattering comparative.

Ohy my goodness.... I just retook the inventory on a psychology site, with prayer, and got ESTP. Never got it before. Read up some on it. Had potential. Decided to look for related videos. Got this one. One of the first things I heard relates exactly to so much of my life wherein people often have said "You just always have to bring the party down." or asked, "Why do you always have to ruin my fantasy?" To which I would reply, "Because, your way of thinking is going to get someone killed or at least diseased and deserving of death."

Most people make us out to be idiots or underdeveloped. We are usually the scapegoats of most things that go wrong which is why we have to be so very socially aware. But yeah, we have hearts the size of the grand canyon and will do whatever we can within reason for our environment.

It's called empathy without sympathy, or cognitive empathy. Yes, they are usually very smart. My ESTP father was in contracts... and other things that he couldn't talk about. When an ESTP doesn't want you to know who they are, you won't know for a very long time. They will avoid you, for one thing. BOLO.

Weirdly, as an ESTP 8w7, I'm abnormally aspirational and idealistic. I can simultaneously be bossy whilst being charismatic enough to inspire even the most sensitive types. It means I don't have to dumb myself down in order to appeal to everyone - I can keep my sarcastic charm which means I don't put people off. I've been told before I have a great character for business.

My brother is an Estp. He's absolutely genius in everything about making good connections everywhere and making money. Like you can drop him fully naked in some other country and just in a year he'll have his own business there, a dozen of girlfriends and a shit ton of friends. I could never.
But his academic life was always shitty. Since school he was always a troublemaker who would rather go and do something dangerous with his friends then learn. Cuz of that he himself says something like "I'm stupid unlike you". And my family thinks the same. But the thing is - he's just not into sitting still and trying to grasp something that needs a lot of time and attention. He likes to live fast and fun. But he's really smart, he thinks really fast.

He' s 10 years older than me and still acts like a teen. Sometimes he says "If we weren't related I would never be friends with you."
But we are related. So he also says "Ok, you go learn all the boring shit and I'll monetize it, let's work together."

I highly suspect that video game streamer, DrDisRespect is an ESTP (or at least his persona). He fits this description exactly. His quickness of action often gets himself into trouble as quickly as it gets him out. He is often intolerant of the indecision or inaction of others and also quick to point out anything he feels is BS, calling it as he sees it and never shy about it. His direct, high energy, always on the move personality can be very entertaining to watch but some could find him overwhelming.

I simply call EXTP charismatic bastards.
ENTP are mostly geeks , while ESTP are more present-orientied.

As an ESTP idk what to say, every single thing you said is 100% true.
Especially the vibe part. I have all kinds of friends who have their own unique vibes. If the person has a bland vibe I usually don't try to keep the conversation going.
I see it as trial and error. I remember my first two weeks of highschool,my plan was to make as many aquintances as I could and during the third week I would choose with whome do I want to hang out more.
PS: I stayed in touch with at least 1/3 of the school

My clinical supervisor is an ESTP. I though she might be when I first met her, but when she said "yeah, I used to be on a competitive unicycling team in the 80s - I did all the jumps and tricks, and we performed at the World's Fair," it sealed the deal.

I think I would like to marry an ESTP... I don't know anyone with that personally, so I am not sure.

Te = Rational thinking + Decision making.
ETSP = Se + Ti + Fe + Ni = Never Rational (No Te).
Unless using their unconscious functions that are the same as an ISTJ. Si + Te + Fi + Ne = Very Rational & not so dominant in a ESTP.

I adore the kind of intelligence ESTPs have. In my experience, they don't show much interest in school academic life, so many people are likely to call them stupid, judging by the marks. But their abilities to communicate with different people, have fun everywhere anytime, solve real problems, right now at the moment, are just... wonderful. They are visually confident and it makes you feel safe with them. ESTPs are people who make me believe that real life is actually fun.
