Are we supposed to turn these off when we get home or do they turn off by themselves if they sense you are no longer in the parks?

Does anyone know how to turn theirs off? Everytime i try to hold down the power button to turn it off it wants to pair to something.

I just purchased one. I noticed that every time I open the Disneyland app and go to Magicband+ square and click on it, it says not connected but connects within seconds. So does it turn off every time u close the app?

This is so weird because today I was watching Josh buy the partners Magic Band. We're going for Halloween this year. I called my daughter and asked what exactly are the magic bands and do we want to spend money on them. We're not going to get expensive ones we're going to be there for like 7 or 8 days
