Hi,
I may be missed this part at the long vlog...
I was wonder as follow your footage how are you going to finance eduction at a top tear university.
In Israel where I'm living, higher education costs almost nothing and most if not all unjversities obtain higher rducation rates (Universities, not colleages where there are few education levels), in europe for europinian it actualy for free.
A top tear university suppose to cost furtune... And I am talking about hundred tousand of us$ for graduation degree.
Thanks and sorry for being rude.

Very interesting video. I may have missed it but you frequently refer to "AP french" or AP some other subject. What does the AP stand for?

I didn't understand on how much study both kids were doing but am happy Avalon has applied herself to date. Getting into a University via your current method is something I didn't know was possible. Voice lessons is welcome with her because you waisted your money there and am really happy you didn't sing in this video. (Whew) The problem we had in school after getting back to the U.S. was some other students felt insulted because they did not similar backgrounds as us. This happened in the early -mid '60's in the deep south. A story to be shared later. A school with an international student body will be the right fit. Hope you all select a goodern'.........
You mentioned earlier that this video will be made and that more are to follow. Looking forward to them and again... Thank You for not singing ..................... enjoy

I just want to say I think you are doing an amazing job of their education! So much better than the average. My daughter is in her final year of school and is going to be studying in the U.S. A. next year. I wish her education had looked like this.

Great Video! I've watched all your videos in the RV, & just graduated our Homeschool Kid #5. I can vouch for the rigor AND heart-led homeschool path Jessica's described. It's both the academics AND the lifestyle. I'm astounded at Avalon's college goals, but our kids have all transitioned well to engineering/nursing with scholarships. Just giving a big Thumbs up. Jessica did a phenomenal job explaining all of this . . . and all the flashbacks kept things fun!

Ps your way is way way better! No expert! Good Job! very helpful I think for others, I am missing the sailing, but I can wait :-)

Home schooling is widely accepted and i for one feel that the children (not kids) receive much more information in an open environment.

First, am so glad we have our kids education behind us and they are off the payroll. Whew! Your insights ought to be mandatory watching for anyone who is interested in doing homeschool as I've known a few who are not equipped to making it a successful experience and thus adversely impacting their kids education and potential future. The pandemic pushed many into thinking homeschool is the way to go as opposed to other more 'traditional avenues' of learning at home. Those folks need to watch this. Congrats to you and to the kids for a job well done (and you're not done yet). Happy sailing.

Jessica, you've gone beyond in explaining and sharing your lovely family's journey. Thank you so much for being so genuine. I've homeschooled my family for about 26 years and definitely consider our style eclectic as well. My hubby and I are now travelling with and caring for our 12 yr old grandson and we are hoping to launch into world travelling after having rv'd fulltime around the States for 3 years. Seriously considering joining you for the Galapagos trip next year! Enjoy and be well🤗

Thanks. I am actually shocked that the cost of online schooling ranges between 10 to 15 thousand, considering that in person private high school is around 17k. I would love to see your school budget, if u are willing to share.

Just for price comparison my top rated high school was a small 1000 student catholic college prep and the tuition is $13,200 per year.

To me, paying for all online classes is a very specific way of homeschooling (and an expensive one). In fact, I wouldn't really call that homeschool, it's really more online schooling a la carte.

I think what you are doing and what you shared is amazing! The kids are doing great and in so many ways I wish my youngest would have done this she would have excelled. The only reason she didn't was my fear not hers. Think about that, how powerful is that. My fear not hers. Thanks for sharing. I hope others are as brave as you - as soon as possible. Hugs from the states.

Love love love both videos you did on the kid’s education. We’ve been really struggling to figure out what a balance between homeschooling, unschooling and worldschooling could look like and you helped me visualize how this could work so clearly. Thanks so much for this incredible and generous content. Your kids are amazing!

Oh my goodness! This video on homeschooling a high schooler was fabulous! I am excited to search out some of the options you mentioned.
We are also eclectic and our 8th grader has been homeschooling since the day 3rd grade ended. I appreciate how you have crafted your homeschool to instill a love of learning, which is so very important to our family, too! ❤️ Thanks for referring me here today from the FB post. 🥰
