Any Human-borne infection CAN be stopped. That is because Humans can be stopped and contained. Physical Barriers (Man-made and Natural) reinforced with things like walls, ditches, fences, mine fields, and other defenses would isolate the infected from those not.

The job of protecting the health from the infected would fall to one joint organization: BARRIER COMMAND.
They would have almost total authority to prevent any person, vehicle, vessel, or aircraft from breaching quarantine zones. And the tools at their disposal would also be virtually unlimited: bullets, bombs, fire, chemical... and more.

Repetitive. Same cold precision, war-ravaged face, and Dr. Mia Chan lines, same 'it's adapting fast'. Then plot holes... If the infected are decaying they are not life. Telling not showing. How were the zombies adapting in the world outside the bunker?

Mid. Written by an AI, perhaps.

AI needs electricity to live. When the human race starts dying off, our electric grid dies off with us, destroying AI completely. Even robots need electricity to continue. Most people don't understand that, it's weird. They don't understand humans do not need electricity but we rely heavily on it so we ignore how much we actually use it and take it for granted. This story and robots taking over (to an extent) cannot happen. It just can't. Unless AI gets a super human way to keep electricity running (which physically requires humans and water) it will die off.

There's never just a regular group of people. It's always 'he fought the war, she was in healthcare, they both knew what they were doing.' Not 'he was a 38yr old ex drummer for an emo band who now does insider trading and she's a nail tech and theyre both trying to deal with a zombie apocalypse.' We need people to root for, not people we wouldn't mind killing off. 'Just give me ten more minutes' Hoe you had an entire outbreak you're not that good of a researcher. You're done.
