The UPDATED GUIDE to Product Design in 2024 - The Beginning of a New Era!

Hi chethan, your videos are really provides great value to the newbies like me! i have a doubt about design system. Does design system only applicable/useful if you are working in a company? I mean shall we build our own design sytem so that we can use it for our own designs. For eg i am applying for lot of ui/ux position. First thing they give is to complete an assignment. So creating components for each project takes lot of time and sometimes i miss the deadline. Hence should we build our own personal design system so that we can use it universally for all our project?

I have a question for the theatre food app, won't it disturb people or the time when service men are delivering the food to your seat? What's the solution? To have a deadline and only then will food be shared among a specific time to all? It's pretty obvious you can't share food while the movie is on because service men's bodies will be a distraction, so what to do? Should one get it from the cash counter itself due to pre home ticket booking? Or should there be a wheeling table and enough space between two rows for it to deliver food to every seat in the row with some lock that will be unlocked with a qr code on one particular seat number or something... 🤔

Hey chetan, so about the case study, my question is that I've been in this company for 2+ years & we have shipped a project into the market but for now we are only focused on a specific state & not all over the country since we are closely looking at how our product is performing & based on that we'll take decision of releasing it to others in future. So since the project has been released into the market & we've only released in a specific state, am I allowed/not allowed to showcase it into my case study?

Why didnt u have spacing between status bar, search bar component and top tab bar in ur Airbnb example?
This always confuses me, if we put vertical padding in our components then should we add space between components or not?
