The thing that doesn’t get brought up is that when it comes to beating Freddy it’s can be pretty easy as long as you aren’t unlucky enough to be in a bad situation like the protagonist we’re if Freddy came back in the modern day and age he would get his extra crispy ass handed to him because now Adays people see so much messed up stuff that Freddy’s downright pathetic compared to it plus you don’t actually need to have advanced mental powers or whatever to beat him you just need fake confidence because if Freddy thinks your not afraid or powerless you then become those things in the dreams plus out of all the villains of that era of horror he’s one of the least physically threatening he’s just a skinny short dude with a single unwieldy weapon who was only brave enough to target kids

You overlooked the use of benzodiazepines. Taking a few of those with zero tolerance for them would essentially put you into a coma. No dreams, nothing, nada you'd be so heavily sedated that your brain would essentially switch off. You'd wake up still feeling the effects and probably have some amnesia, but in this scenario it'd obviously be worth it if it saves your life. I'm pretty sure they're easy to get your hands on aswell so that would be my strat, at first at least

The way to beat him is pull him out of the dream like everyone has already done, the difference is after that instead of hitting him with Chekoffs sledge hammer or hacking him up with a paper cutter like the punisher, instead incapacitate him and lock him in a safe cell so he can’t commit suicide or kill himself in any practical way make sure he is and stays alive until he dies a old man from old age and then you won’t have to deal with the dream kills until he dies of old age or whatever. For a severe burn victim he gets around pretty well in the real world.
