Best Running Headphones 2024 | ft Apple, Shokz, Beats and Bose

Love the video! As someone who burns through pairs of headphones, a couple of notes:

JBL Endurance 2s-- I've had 2 cases stop charging after approx 6 months of use
Beats Powerbeats Pro- the case stopped charging the right headphone after a year of use

I'll keep an eye out for the Jaybird Vistas if I even need to replace my current Samsung Buds2!!

I love my openear headphones (Shokz) for safety purposes especially with a lot of road running as a woman!

Almost none appear in multiple categories. Therefore leaving me confused all around.

I find the Powerbeats Pro didn’t fit well at all as a glasses wearer - found it felt very strange around my ears and always needed adjustment to get the best sound.

I have the Power Beats and AirPod Pro 2s. I think an underrated feature on the beats is the volume adjustment buttons. Would've been a good feature to compare across different headphones. Thanks for the video

No Sony’s though? I use my WF-1000xm5’s for EVERYTHING sound quality, functions and fit it spot on 🎧👌

I personally use the beats fit pro. I like them because they have a decent sound quality, IPX 4 rating and fit really well with the little wings. My ears have a really weird shape, so just being able to wear them securely is a win. They are also pretty cheap for what you get and less noticeable compared to overear options.

I just had a run in the woods and lost one of my earphones. My first thought: how am I going to find my black earphone back in the mud and bushes??? Somehow I did 🧐, but I probably need ones that don't fall out that easy (it was not the first time). Thanks for this video! I haven't decided yet, but Rolfstones could be an option.

I have the Jaybird Vista 2 and my experience is that they are not as enduring or great as it's made out here: first ,they are not completely sweat proof, if I'm sweating a lot as I do one or both of the ear pieces stop(s) working until I shake them out which is inconvenient while running; second, they don't always connect to the phone (iPhone13), you have to do a lot of disconnecting and reconnecting to try and get them to work, a few times I gave up and just went on my runs anyway; third, they don't always charge - you leave them in the charging case with the lights on all night and the next day they are still only 40% or 20% i.e. not charged at all; lastly, one of the ear pieces has just stopped charging completely even when the charging light is on and no amount of resets, hard or soft, has brought it back. The Vista 2 is not a great piece of manufacturing in my view.

I've got JBL endurance peak 3. They're quite affordable, the hook means they're never falling out of your ear even when you're doing yoga. Plus for safety measures it has an ambiant noise mode that enhances all the noise surrounding you so that you can listen to your music while running on sidewalks of the busiest roads. The battery life is killer. The only downside is the case is too massive. But I bought these and there's no going back.

I have the beats fit pro and love them. Love the colors they come in, the fit perfectly in my ears, I run a lot and they never fall out! also they're quite small so I use them in daily use as well! love the noise cancelling in the train

I'm running a half marathon in Scotland and the website says I need to wear bone conducting headphones. Is this correct or will I get away with air pods?

For me the EarFun Air earbuds have been the best budget earphones I’ve used in a long long time. Great sound, long battery life, all day comfortable and IPX7 rated. Great passive noise isolation too, no need for ANC. They just impress me every time I put them on. And cheap too!

I love the PowerBeats Pro for running but...it is a pain to charge them. From what I've researched, the case comes with a design flaw. Had to leave the case plugged in and open for the headphones to stay charged, or else I would come to see only one headphone charged or none of them.

I can’t stand the Jlab go air pop. Never has an earbud had a worse fit in my ear. There is nothing keeping it secure in the ear at all, they fall out when I’m just sitting at a desk, not even exercising!

JBL endurance peak 3 are not good for phone calls AT ALL and you can hear/feel your footsteps. Music sounds ok, but. And the earhooks also having power built into them is aggravating when you need to remove a bud temporarily.

I use the Sony XM5 for over ear, great battery life and even though they're not officially IPX rated for sweat Ive had no issues at all for over a year now. I throw them in my gym bag without a case, great for workouts, great for running.
The Only issue i get is with the "pause song when you take off your headphones" feature due to the sensor inside getting fogged up from working out but it works fine once it dries.
I hear the XM6 are just as good but for the price difference and limited improvements id definately buy XM5s again if these ever break on me.

Can you use this running headphone, run around your neighborhood while your phone is left in the house?

You should have a category for "Best fit for people with glasses". All those earbuds with hooks around the ear are problematic when using glasses. 🤓

Jaybird are trash! I had two pairs with multiple issues. Further more they discontinued their earbuds line.

Powerbeats Pro have an issue where one bud will disconnect. Loads of issues on the forums.

There's only one thing I care about, if I can run, climb and jump with it.

Almost all on the market, marketed as RUN or whatever "ACTION, KABOOM" is just a crappy earplug that's good for an office deskjob and walking in the park to sit down on a bench. ;)

Power beats use to be the top of the line but the quality is way down hill the headphones don’t sit in the charger well, they don’t pair with the iPhone well, you need to put them on at the same exact time or only one will pair. Literally I have to put the case down and put both on at the exact same time or one will not pair and I need to put them back in and try again. I thought it was just my pair but there are hundreds of Amazon reviews with the same charging and pairing issues. It’s a major buzz kill when I open the case for a run and one is totally drained after sitting in the charger case all night, you put them in they click and they don’t charge need to verify it’s charging with the iPhone. Don’t buy! Very disappointing back years ago before Apple bought it these were daily essentials for me.
