Looking at the thumbnail for the tutorial, anyone can dive to take a lesson but sadly, this appears as a half bake cake. Some of us don't know how to make that displacement layer to follow along with the tutorial. When you spend so much time on the main part of the tutorial, give a few more minutes to make that displacement layer works.
