I need to see a bald guy trimming his Caesar ring and top fuzz like this.
ОтветитьI've been cutting my own hair for many years and always did "just okay" with the length on top... so today, I tried your method with a #4 guard, and it worked wonderfully well... simple and effective. Thanks for the advice.
ОтветитьI've only had two store-bought haircuts in my life and I'm 76. My first haircut was when I was too young to remember it, but my father said he would never take me back to the barber because I screamed and embarrassed him. Because there were four of us brothers, Dad bought a pair of mechanical hand clippers first. Later he bought an electric set which he used to cut us boy's hair for years. When I was about to graduate from high school I decided I needed a professional haircut for graduation. The barber made so much fun of my hair being like 'Hog Hair' like the people who lived down in the poor area had. I paid him a quarter and left. And I've never been back to a barber shop since. For the last 58 years, I've cut my own hair. Hair cuts have gone from a quarter per head to twenty and thirty dollars a head... I've saved some real money over the years... And... Truth be told, there are only a couple of days between a bad cut and a good look that's grown out to hide the mistakes... So... Yeah... You can cut your own hair... I've done it... For decades...
ОтветитьAwesome video. Thank you. My 10yr old son desperately needed a haircut and money has been tight. I used your method and it turned out great! Super quick too. Now I can add amateur barber to my Mom skills 👍
Ответитьyou look perfect! for a legally blind, self haircut is always challenging because mirrors simply don't help much. even though you think this is nothing, for me this is perfect. I assume your methods here can apply to woman, right? I am eager to have the same haircut as yours. I don't mind being short like you. You look gorgeous.
ОтветитьFirst my father, and now my mother, have been cutting my hair for the last 20+ years! Have been slowly evolving my style, and with that, I decided that i finally want to be a big boy, and learn to do it myself!
Watched a few videos before this one, but this one has been by far the best and what i've primarily what i've been looking for. Thank you sir, and wish me luck!
Fantastic !!
ОтветитьBeen cutting my own hair again with the clippers,Not been to a hair dressers for well over 10 years
ОтветитьThanks so much!!!
ОтветитьThanks for this video! I am confused about one thing though, #3 is equivalent to what inch or mm measure? I have a set of guards but they are not numbered, they just have measures in inches and millimeters. What is the #3 you are using exactly?
ОтветитьGreat video as always.Keep going with your great videos.Thank you.
Ответить"A little bit thinner on top"?? Lol
ОтветитьSending this video to the barber that just left me looking like I escaped from a mental institution. Everything I said I didn't want to see, he did.
Why didn't I complain? Because if they struggle with a simple haircut I don't think me giving more instruction help. It never has.
He is not my usual barber, had to go somewhere else despite my instints saying "wait until you can see the usual barber".
And that was after showing him a bunch of photos of what it looks when I get it done at my usual barber.
I'm now watching videos to try and "fix" it.
If you find a barber that gives you a haircut you like, like my usual barber does, make sure to appreciate them. Worth the long trip there that I was trying to avoid. And I mean long...like getting on a plane long. That's how happy I am with the usual haircut and how unhappy I am with this. Enough to think "it's worth getting on that plane".
I wish you would say the length of your number 3. Mine is 3/16" or 4.5mm.
ОтветитьBeen doing my own hair for years. My worst results were when I was impatient and u relaxed.
ОтветитьJust did this and it actually turned out quite alright! Thank you
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your expertise with me. ✌️ from What's left of America.
ОтветитьGreat video , thanks for your help 👍.
ОтветитьWhat brand cliper u use??.?
ОтветитьI prefer using the Flowbee
ОтветитьDo not attempt to cut your own hair as it will look as terrible as this.
ОтветитьAs a age pensioner this would be extremely useful if I could see as well as I did 30 years ago. Even beard trimming can be disastrous these days.😅
ОтветитьWhat number are people doing ontop, like what’s the best number for the top? Say, if the sides are going to be number 2 ??
ОтветитьThe one and only time i tried this i accidentally used the wrong number clipper
It looked like a lawn mower had just gone through long grass i should have tried it on the dog first 🤔
This reminds me of the old saying: a man who has his own lawyer has a fool for a client.
ОтветитьHere's a tip to cut the back without trying to look in the mirror. Just put a baseball cap on backwards and press the bill against the back of your head while cutting up to it and you'll get a nice even line.
ОтветитьBro almost has hunter eyes
ОтветитьI agree. It is not a professional haircut. However, it worked for me. I tried my first do-it-yourself haircut. Thanks mate for the spot on coaching!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this. Just did my hair today. Followed you instructions to the letter, and it came out pretty good. It's not perfect, but I'm very happy with it.
ОтветитьBah! I can’t bring myself to try it… The amount of times I’ve had to shave my beard off cause I got trigger happy doesn’t bode well for me cutting my own hair… 😂 I don’t think I could pull off the bald look if I messed up either lol😂
Ответитьwhat number guard at the top of the hair?
ОтветитьDo you have the leaver forward or back? Not sure if to have in open or closed position. As the leaver being forward looks as though more hair would be taken off.
ОтветитьSeems like a lot of effort and risk to save a tenner. 😂
ОтветитьNice Video. I chuckled that the "one minute barber" video is 11 min long LOL
Ответитьwhen I'm doing the neck hair I just rest my index finger along the edge of the blade as I move it up the back of my neck, and I can feel where the edge of the scalp hair is.
ОтветитьExcellent! Thanks. BRB
Ответить"I've been a barber for 18 years"
8 mins later in the video: "If I can do it, you can do it"
🫠
Professional haircuts are a waste of time and money.
ОтветитьThis helped me a lot. Thanks a lot🎉
ОтветитьHello, which brand of cutting Machine do you recommend?
Thanks!
I im cutting my own hair for 25 years. Started doing this as an immigrant who couldn't afford hair saloon in UK. The only difference i go against the hair on the top. Works as well. 👍
ОтветитьBest video and spot on !
ОтветитьI haven't read ALL the comments yet so forgive me if I'm repeating others' past observations ~
Being a skin cancer patient, I noticed that dark spot near your left eyebrow looks somewhat concerning; nearly identical to one of my first melanomas. I'm due for another removal surgery in a few days.
Thanks for the tutorial!
Great video mate
ОтветитьWould this look good using a 2 guard using this method
ОтветитьThis is the BEST video! I find working with scissors so difficult, love that this is clippers only.
ОтветитьThank you for another great instructional video!
