Awesome shop tour, thankyou.
ОтветитьJapan = perfection and quality
ОтветитьThose u called meister in German or in french maitre they're called Takumi highly skilled Craftsman
Ответитьand it's funny that all this come to a primitive fundamental...flatness
ОтветитьThis video is 10/10. The enthusiastic, concise and educational presenting by Tyson and Travis, the filming of the processes and giving us a broader sense of the manufacturing scale and the editing to make it all come together and make sense while keeping the video moving at a solid pace. Also can't forget the real star(s) of the show: Japan, Mitutoyo, the machines and the HUMANS! Just perfect.
ОтветитьSomeone needs to build the inspection tools to inspect the inspection tools :D love it
ОтветитьLots of us fascinated non machinist subscriners...
Whats a cmm?
In a word: Fantastic!
ОтветитьMeister means 'master' in German (as in master craftsman, or as an honorific title such as Meister Eckhart). The word is akin to master and maestro. The word is now used across many nation’s, commonly used. I think meister is a kooler word and does acknowledge the German modern origins…. Of course linguists will chime in.
ОтветитьBravo japan! high quality japan reliability perfection world level top tier. much respect to the r&d
Ответитьyour dad must be proud of you. youre very smart. good work man!
ОтветитьSuper Tegnologhi JAPAN N1🎉 MITUTOJO
Ответитьi really hate this way of pushing unnatural emotions instead of calm and natural explanation like guy in glasses
ОтветитьPlease help me machine the Constant Shifting Center of Gravity Rotor, the center of gravity pendulum. I will pay for even one single prototype.
ОтветитьThose calipers are the best. Buy one pair and it’ll last a lifetime.

70 million calipers a year?
ОтветитьMy first ever machinist tool was a brand new set of 6 inch digital mitutoyo calipers. My dad's friend gave them to me when I was 14 years old, so 23 years ago. I still have them, and my dad's friend has since passed. A few years ago I sent those calipers out to get reground. The company was very polite, and said it wasn't worth it because the repair would cost more than a new set. I told them I really appreciated their honesty, but these are very sentimental to me and I'd still like them fixed. They fixed them up nice, and I still use them to this day. Can't beat that Mitutoyo quality, and your most trusted tools will become sentimental to you.
ОтветитьVery nice video
ОтветитьAwesome tour thank you guys. Loved the background music or instrument wats it called
ОтветитьYou guys totally forgot about LaRoy Starret,
ОтветитьYou explain the "precision" required to machine granite to extremely small margins of error. Yet in Egypt there are ancient blocks of hard granite with similar levels of precision, (both internal and external) and they did it with "copper chisels and hammer rocks". With no precision machines required at all???
Ответитьvideo raised respect for MITUTOYO From India🇮🇳
ОтветитьWhat the heck was that thumbnail
ОтветитьJapan is the best of best
Ответитьi really like your guys tour videos this one and the micrometer video was really interesting, keep it up would love to see more and that 4 jaw vice
ОтветитьThose are called Vernier calipers and Mitutoyo is pronounced mitsutoyo, not mitutoyo
ОтветитьThank you for the video. I have a Mitutoyo Japan dial bore gauge from the 1970s. That era of tooling is difficult to find! My 0-6" set is newer and I use it often. I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьMind blowing stuff
Ответитьmy newer calipers from them are not the same as my older , not as sensitive or repeatable, do love my older mitutoyo's.
ОтветитьThe stereotypical japanese music is a little much
ОтветитьThank you for this wonderful insight into one of our manufacturing units.
ОтветитьI bet Titan is proud of his boy Tyson
ОтветитьWow, super cool!
ОтветитьAmazing content. Thank you Titans.
ОтветитьMitutuyo is the best 😁 very accurate measuring tools ✌️. Finally i see some glimpses how these calipers is manufactured.
ОтветитьMitutoyo is that one legendary brand where you know you are going to get some of the the best and most precise and accurate tools humans are capable of creating.
I feel like there's a level of prestige in owning tools from Mitutoyo, even though they can be found in-use everywhere. I know a few of my local auto mechanic shops have at least one set of Mitutoyo calipers on hand because I've seen them while bringing my car in for service. I'd bet they likely have a slew of other Mitutoyo tools in a toolbox I didn't see.
Whether you realize it or not, everything we interact with daily was designed, developed, and engineered using at least one of Mitutoyo tools.
Thank you Mitutoyo for doing what you do.
I’ve also calibrated and repaired their measuring instruments in my 40 year career
ОтветитьI operated Mitutoyo CMM’s at Rolls-Royce inspecting their fan blades, we had 8 in tandem and I was the team leader.
ОтветитьGloves and masks for all but these 2 guys and camera man lol
ОтветитьThese vidoes are really awful. The time-hop between pictures is just so fast, making it completely impossible to enjoy the contents.
ОтветитьI think the stuff that you do is amazing. and it incredible because I was told recently that if all the men disappeared in the world. Women could just easily take over. That's not true. I'm sorry to bring this comment here. But it's becoming a bit frustrating when society shitting on men so much. Stand-up men. We built society. Look what we do. And for those who are going to contest that I do not contribute anything. I work in the energy division, maintenance, high-performance pumps. And it's a very demanding job
ОтветитьAmazing tour, thank you for making this, and also of course Mitutoyo for letting them in.
ОтветитьAmazing tour. That perfect precision!
ОтветитьThis is like visiting the Ferrari factory of calipers.
ОтветитьI’m sure the vacuum bit was bullocks 😂
