Will we see a follow-up video on smoking pellet / woods brands, scent-flavours etc. (and maybe also where to get them and how to know if they're quality or not) after you've had time to get more comfortable and experiment with smoking salmon or other fish?

Oh boy ...as ypu know ,living on a boat...ive seen a lot of snoked salmon. Dennis loves it and we have a smoker on the dock. He said he'd try your way next time. Anytime ypu all wanna go fishing lol 😊 great video.. i do hate when he takes up the whole galley with the fish overnight lol ❤

Great recipe. I make this on a Weber. I put two rows of overlapping coals in one side with cherry wood chunks on top. Place the salmon on the side away from the coals. Light one end and put top vent over the salmon to draw smoke over it. Close bottom vent almost completely to keep temps low. Some coals burn hotter or cooler. An inexpensive instant read thermometer is great for checking all types of meat to make sure it’s done.
