Ash will be the Dumbledore in this saga. If he really became what he desired... I'm foreseeing an epic gathering of pokemon all around the world just to pay their respects and honor this great boy, who gave us all not only one of the best adventures for more than 20 years, but also made possible for several generations to connect and talk about him and his world.
I expect Arceus to assist at that event as the head honcho of them all, followed by Mew Mewtwo and all the rest behind, from normal, to legendaries, and make Ho-Ho the one who takes Ash to heaven, because that the only place he is going to be.

Something I want to say about Ash's original hat... that was a hat that Ash won in an event/sweepstakes thing. The logo is apparently the brand of the Pokemon League. It isn't some family symbol, it isn't special, and it isn't something that could only show up in the Ketchem lineage. It is a basic Pokemon League Hat that Ash won, and then never wore again.

I had been saying ever since I heard thing dumb fan theory that her having that hair clip means NOTHING. He got his hat from a contest(not Pokemon Contest) from the Pokémon League Expo. That symbol is the symbol of the Pokémon League Expo, or at least is connected to it. So her having a hair lip with the same symbol means less than nothing. The Pokémon League Expo gave away 100 of those hats. You think they didn’t also make other products with the same symbol?

I hope Ash comes back as an adult. It makes sense when you remember Ash was ment to be the stand in for 10 year old kids when his adventure started. While it doesn't make sense if you start when the Sun and Mon anime came out(2016 so 10 year old kids would be 17), you can definitely make a case for X and Y. It came out in 2013, meaning 10 year olds would be in their 20s. Perfect time for Ash to be an adult. And the oldest fans, when the anime first came out in 1997, would be around 36 if they were Ash's age

No one ever mentions this but Lillie from Sun and Moon would be an interesting future relationship because they could actually make the development of that relationship into an interesting Pokemon story. I.E. Endless Battles with Gladeon to prove that he can protect her lol.
