I think one problem with this attitude however is that to hold everyone accountable for their choices and actions at all times has to be that everyone is conscious all the time. If you are unconscious and your subconscious is controlling some of ur choices or behaviours ppl cant really be held accountable for it. Like if someone murdered someone in their sleep, how can they be held accountable for this? some ppl repeat traumas and mistakes in their lives because their subconscious is making them repeat it to try get a different outcome.

I sent a DM to a company on instagram 2 years ago and landed my dream job. Well dream job for about a year and a half before I found another which has elevated me creatively as a graphic designer. What inspired me at the time was Kobe's quote " you miss 100% of the shots you Don't take"

Tim it does get darker than that. There's four year olds who have had to do what you saw. Just saying it can always get darker. Depravity has no limits.

Every mistake I've made, I've reconciled. I've owned up to it, whether people accept it or not. There have been times when people asked me to apologize for things I shouldn't have apologized for. If I had to point out a mistake, I would say one of them would be the few times I apologized for things I should not have apologized for."

This passage offers a powerful set of principles about discipline, resilience, and the mindset required to achieve success. Here’s a breakdown of each key idea:

1. **Control Your Dark Side**: Your insecurities or fears can either control you or be controlled by you. Mastering them is essential to keep them from dictating your actions and decisions.

2. **Pain and Strength**: The more pain or discomfort you can endure, the stronger you become. Pushing through challenges builds resilience and fortitude.

3. **Pride vs. Responsibility**: Don’t allow pride to prevent you from doing what’s necessary to take care of your family. Humility and responsibility are more important than ego.

4. **Mind Over Feelings**: When making decisions, rely on logic and reason rather than emotions. Emotions can cloud judgment, while the mind remains rational.

5. **Embrace Being Different**: People often fear what they don’t understand. True success comes from obsessing over the details, not simply being interested in them. The best performers find their competitive edge through meticulous attention to these details.

6. **Separation in the Details**: Success isn’t just about adding new habits or strategies but eliminating the unnecessary distractions. It’s in the small, often overlooked elements that mastery occurs.

7. **The Bill of Regret**: If you think the cost of winning is high, wait until you face the consequences of regret. That regret can carry over to future generations, unless someone is willing to "pay off" that debt by making hard choices now.

8. **Proactive Decision-Making**: Being proactive and making the most difficult decisions upfront is crucial. This sets you up for long-term success rather than just surviving in the short term.

9. **Showing Up Is Just the Beginning**: Merely showing up doesn’t win battles; it’s the baseline. Those who think it’s half the work are already behind. Success demands going beyond the basics.

10. **People Want Rewards for Easy Work**: Many seek recognition for doing the minimum or what is easy, but real achievement comes from doing the hard, uncomfortable things.

This philosophy advocates for discipline, tough decision-making, and resilience, urging you to confront difficulties head-on and focus relentlessly on the small details that separate the great from the average.
