Is there going to be any interpolation and, consequently, any frame loss if I change 60fps in clip attributes to 30fps, then put the clip on the 30fps timeline, and speed it up to 200% (to get the normal speed instead of slo-mo)?

so I am just opening up and learning DR. My question if anyone here can answer. I filmed video clips in 60UHd and photos in 30FHD. i HAVE only worked on an older different editor. There was just one timeline. I am trying to just basically try to do what I did before and slowly learn new tips. Would I set the frame rate for this video on 60 or 30? My viewers are mostly on phones or tablets watching. And I don't do much movement or landscape. I know now to change my rates on my camera for the future... but what do i do with the two days of filming I already filmed?

My sources are both 29.97fps and 30fps. If I select 30fps in the project settings, the 29.97fps will be very laggy, and the same thing for the 30fps clip if I change project settings to 29.97fps. Is this normal? How can I work with 29.97fps and 30fps in the same timeline?

davinci studio feels like work in only 60hz is it normal , it is a cap from app?bcs im used to 240HZ and now i want to start edit a feels akward

Thanks for the information, good job. I still have a question though. I recorded something at 500 fps and was hoping to play it back at a normal rate as a "slow motion" video. How would I go about doing that? Would I enter the normal frame rate when I create the project, for example? Thanks in advance.

Does Davinci Resolve go higher than 60 frames on the free version or is it the paid version that does more than 60 Frames per second timeline/export?

how do I get a display of what frame im at in a video

so what if my video consist of format 4k record settings 24p 100m for regular speed + Format HD record setting 120p 100m for slow motion.
now what is the proper timeline ton use in DaVinci Resolve (I have the latest free version). or should I not use 4k and use HD for the 24 frames reg speed. I shoot with Sony A7C so 60 or 120 fps isn't available in 4k only 24-30 is. Please someone help I'm trying to get my business started and only thing holding me back is editing and importing and exporting and knowing timelines. because I did at home practice video and the media isn't found now I used 24pfs 4k timeline with the settings I listed above. and I got this information from "tomorrows film makers"

i'm going insane trying to use some gopro footage at 4k 30fps and slow it down in the editor to 24fps in the editor plays ok, but when i try to export it i get juddery footage, i tried this trick, but resolve just crashed, then said there no codec to export this file, a file that plays in the editor..... ooookay! any insights anybody?

this sped up the playback super fast and i wasnt able to fix it ! :( cant find fix

A vendor needs me to export my clips at native frame rate. That native FPS was 40 frames per second. I tried doing what you said but I can't find a 40 FPS option. What do I do?
