At the bottom of the screen when I tried to publish the punching animation, it says "We recommend you to delete the local animation data to improve your experience's loading performance. You will always be able to reimport the Animation the continue working on it." What do I do!?!??

So many issues first is that u keep advertising ur server bro 😂 2 is that NONE OF THESE WORK 3. almost everything doesn’t work cuz u keep advertising 4. U keep skipping like ur so fricking lazy 5. u don’t even show us what to do while u skip and it’s so hard to understand overall rating on this tutorial is a 0 / 10 tbh

i appreciate that you are trying to help others, but this tut isnt really good 🤷‍♂

here are some issues:

client debounces - if you handle your cooldowns on the client, an exploiter could simply fire the remote event multiple times a second and ruin your game using a script injector. you can fix this by checking the player's cooldowns on the server. you can do this by storing all of the player cooldowns in a table and reading from there.

indentation - the indentation is very hard to read and understand, there is pretty much no reason to have indentation this bad 😭 for context, indentation is the spaces between the margin and lines of code. if you want to fix your indentation, you can go to the script tab and press "format document". this does all of the proper indentation for you.

.Touched hitboxes - seriously, why are you doing this? they are notoriously bad at hit detection and create unnecessary instances. there is like a whole laundry list of other methods of hit detection that include: magnitude hitbox module, raycasthitboxv4 module, :GetPartsInBox, :GetPartsInPart and a few more i cant name off the top of my head. please, dont use .Touched hitboxes.

hey man, i appreciate that you are trying to teach other people, but by putting this out there, you are putting many aspiring devs onto the path of bad habits and practices of the luau language. perhaps before selling a scripting course, you should try to get out of these bad practices yourself.

sidenote: if you want a better combat system tutorial, please look at SushiMaster's combat tutorial. its not for beginners, but it can very well steer you in the right direction.
