I am really hoping that the GFS is wrong cause I went through Ida 3 years ago and I don't want to do that again.

I do have one question for the Professor , Why did this Tropical system travel in a constant direction for 10-12 Day's and then , break the Laws of Physics and just stop dead in the Bay of Campeche ? Seems odd to Tavel all that way and at the last Minute just stop ???

Yea I live 20 mins from lake charles and was there in lake charles when it came it and hit the capital one tower building and was surprised they didn't do this sooner tho. But yea thanks for sharing Reed keep us updated and hope to see you this week haha

Orange oil repels mosquitoes. I don't know about other bugs. I used a bottle of orange flavoring from the spice aisle of the grocery store and mixed it with water. I sprayed it on my grandchildren and the mosquitoes didn't bite them. I used the outside of an orange peel on my legs and that worked too, except they bit me thru my clothes.

Maybe you can do a hurricane spinoff of Twisters irl and call it Cyclone!

Hi Reed! Already have TD Francine just to the W of Evansville, IN on Doppler radar. Sounds Iike Severe Weather flooding rains for us. Pretty bad if doppler radar already showing a TD this far ahead!!!!!😅

Question for you Reed... Will "X" amount of latent heat create a differing amount of low pressure relative to how cold the surrounding air is? In other words, will a colder upper troposphere allow latent heat to more easily reduce the air pressures?
