Roanoke County recognizes P1 Technologies donation to Virginia Western Commmunity College

A $100,000 contribution by P1 Technologies, formerly Plastics One, to support Virginia Western’s Community College Access Program was recognized by the Roanoke County Business Partners, a local program that highlights Roanoke area businesses.

The Virginia Western Community College Access Program (CCAP) is a series of public/private partnerships serving the entire Virginia Western service region, including the counties of Botetourt, Craig, Franklin and Roanoke and the cities of Roanoke and Salem. The program covers the cost of tuition for two years at Virginia Western for area high school graduates who meet program guidelines.  CCAP supports as many students as possible based on student need and available funds.
