He is a creative player, so people get scared of him. Imagine your in a 1v1 vs s1mple and have to defend a site after planting the bomb. You have no idea where he is coming from, what crazy tricks he is going to use to catch you off guard. So you end up playing badly from nerves

You can pretty much look up any pro player and they will have these kind of plays, this is just a highlight of one player. But if you look at the score in this video, often times S1mple's team is losing by a few rounds, and often times he is not even first on his team. Just goes to show that he is not consistent with this level of skill, because if he was playing like this all the time, then no one would be able to stop him. After this, you can type in Ropz top plays, and then you will think that Ropz is the best player alive, after that you can type in Niko's top plays, and you will think that Niko is the best player alive and so on. Same goes for Shroud, the reason why S1mple might have more videos like this is because he is streaming all the time so naturally more content is available. That's why there were so many clips of Shroud back in the days, because the dude was streaming 24/7. Personally l don' t think at this level a single player can be chosen as the best player of all time, most pro players are insanely good and most of them will have these 200 IQ plays with insane reflexes.

i miss being this good at cs, im so mid now. wasnt as good in GO but when i played CSS back in 2013-16 i slapped. my most memorable moment was making an insanely good player in my home server rage quit in a 1v1 on dust 2 because i head banged him through smoke twice with a scout. good times before the server group died mid 2016 iirc
