That looks pretty fun. I like that what your model has influences their attacks. Im assuming each model comes with their own particular cost. And theres a cap that's set beforehand. Now i just need a few thousand dollars for model pieces and paint, the time to put them together, paint, and the hardest part.. people to play with.

Curious to learn about regular warhammer

I wanted to get into Warhammer, but anything outside of the introductory set is too complicated for me and my friends to enjoy

But I defo get why people are into it and the lore is some of coolest stuff I've ever read

Yeah... This is from 2020. My guy, these measuring tapes can get dropped for contact surface touchscreens that automeasure. Tracking dots on terrain and units will reveal angles and line of sight. RFID chips mean you can touch a UI on the screen or on a linked display and get data on anything on the table.
This tech is... rather dated. Measuring tapes? Relying on 2" tall models to tell you their stats based on what they look like? There are so many barriers to this being engaging, and then there's a near-monopoly on minis? I gotta be real, y'all are getting hustled here. The investment in a 3D printer and some PLA would save you 10's of thousands of dollars to just print everything with built-in display features. I'm just gonna get to core rules and run it without all this archaic extra nonsense, I think.

So it's like Pokemon in the fact that everyone collects the cards (models) but no one actually plays the game. Listening to him talk about the rules reminds me of playing a game with my 5-year-old nephew that he made up and changes the rules halfway through the round. The only difference is that my nephew doesn't go into my wallet and takes $600.
